The creature attacks seem to be bugged. I have attack 11 and the opponent has defence 5 (+elder defence 3 which I should ignore) but I'm still not doing ANY damage. :-(
Hmm, not bad but it moves like a pig at the start. Difficult to see how it's possible to shoot up those early towers without getting plastered yourself.
The relentlessly top-down view makes it difficult to see what's going on - and your character looks like a squid. Might I suggest using isometric view instead?
