this game is WAY too hard. im losing in the first couple of battles, and yes im competently playing my class. there aren't enough potions, the crap on the beach is dropping equipment that isn't even for my class, and my only hope - the new skills I just learned - get resisted and my attacks get blocked more often than not. I'm not going to play "reset the game till you get lucky and win" its just not worth it, its just a game
For example with initial mana and mana regen maxed, I can start the battle with 4 maxed thunder turrets (the fourth one im short about 50 mana but that's gained a few seconds) and to me that is really really helpful
I beg to differ, initial max mana is very helpful because you can start off building a lot of troops/upgrades instead of having to wait. Initial max mana BENEFITS YOU.
For everyone saying siege mode is slow, make catapults and rams. always ignore enemy catapults, just go straight for the castle. clear out a path with archers (if you get them) for your rams. these tips make it a lot shorter.
Defense needs a use. it stayed 10 throughout the entire game. either take it out or add some way to augment it. making markets and barracks are useless. enemies should drop more gold as their level raises, i was getting 20-80 gold on everything for the first 3 islands. Grinding is old school, I liked the approach, but its almost 2012 and it is outdated.
should let us keep credits after we fail a wave to upgrade, I don't want to take the easy path and spam lazers but any other method of playing is too difficult so im going to have to give this a 1/5 for pidgeonholing the player into choosing only one way to win
I'm reworking the resistances as I type this :) Should be friendlier to players using more non-combative skills. Just hope it isn't *too easy*
