I love how 2/3 of the world closes borders, enforces martial law, hands out masks and water bottles, and shuts down all schools to combat a disease with literally NO symptoms. Brilliant.
So much lag. I had to refresh the page after every attempt...
Learn to data cleanup dead dice. Keeping track of all of them that have existed since the page loaded will make any CPU cry.
The extreme random badge is very hard -- you have to be lucky enough to have enough pictures with short names, and can't afford typos. But it's quite possible, I ended up with about 25 on my best run. Fun game.
Harder than I expected, but I can't say any of them were the kind of nonsensical arbitrary "logic" that usually plagues these games. This actually made sense when everything clicked. Well done!
The game is fun enough, but whoever wrote the plot needs to be fired. Like, we're supposed to believe Helmut's drug use is some secret that can be used as leverage against him, when he has the hypos STICKING OUT OF HIS BACK ALL THE TIME? Not to mention Westone is the worst FBI agent ever, if he not only loses for five chapters in a row -- while armed -- but one of them was to a fat guy in a Burger King hat.
This was so tedious...
Like, the bosses were balanced well enough to what you could reasonably handle before running out of stuff to keep yourself going -- almost all of them were balanced precisely this way, in fact, which made for a rather constant difficulty. But it took FOREVER. The slug boss in particular wasn't even attacking more than once every 6 turns or something, so you really weren't even doing much except absently clicking attack once you ran out of specials.
Okay...so...the dark shaman killed me, and when it went back to the title screen my save file was gone and all I had was level 1 Mardek in Ch.1 gear. WTF?
I'm surprised nobody's commented on how ridiculously awesome the acid gun and minefield are. Holy cow.
Disc launcher, acid gun, sniper gun, and minefield (and a decoy of course). I wasn't even taking damage on the last wave.
Oh, I forgot to mention -- the targeting kinda blows. When you're attacked by more than one guy, you basically end up spreading damage instead of having any way to focus fire on the one you were trying to.
It's fun for a while, but you didn't balance the scaling of gaining levels very well. I basically blazed through most of the game up to the third cave, then had to grind about 5 levels to be able to take down the three bats in the first room. And so on -- you lost such a large level discrepancy on your opponents, even if you did all the available quests, that occasionally you just had to grind mobs for a painful amount of time.
disturbed_gregg: The complaints are not that the game is hard -- it's poorly balanced and nigh unplayable. You barely have enough firepower to destroy the asteroids in chapter 2 before they hit you if you spend all your upgrade money on the main weapon, and that's if you ignore the enemy ships entirely. To say nothing of the fact that enemy ships are moving about as fast as your bullets and spend most of their time offscreen entirely. No amount of practice will help this -- and that's on MEDIUM.
So I'm being asked to shoot enemies that are not only moving faster than my bullets are flying, but spend much of their time either offscreen above or below me, or hovering INSIDE THE BARREL OF MY CANNON. Judging by the kind of animation and AI, you have the intricacies of the coding down just fine -- but you completely missed making it playable.
