There's an Epic Battle Fantasy going on in the comments section.
I really like this game. Thoughtful, strategic decisions, real consequences for dying, inability to over level... great refresher to a stale RPG genre.
I think all the complaining about going all the way back comes from a genre expectation. No one complains about going all the way back in a Tower Defense game, and we're taking about that long between checkpoints.
Yey! I did its! I like watching this Impossible challenge count going up by the hundreds this weekend. I know a lot of people spent their Saturday doing!
Before I played this game... I didn't know who I was... now I understand who I am. What I am. And why I'm here on this earth. Thank you "I smell," thank you...
Nice idea. A little grindy for my tastes (as in, I need to level grind). Success and failure both feel pretty random. I like the badges, but, I wish they all gave at least little bonuses.
This game NEEDS a quick restart for levels, having to take my hands off the keyboard and select with the mouse is such a pain in a game where you die so much. Would be 5, but goes down to 3 just for that )O:
51,530... best of the day, third best of the week. Three cheers for less-popular-game-score-inflation! I've been trying on and off for 40k since this was, "buried treasure." I feel like that was over a year ago.
I don't think that "All heroes," would be impossible... more Hard. It's just time consuming, and not even that much so, it gets pretty quick after the first. I really enjoyed this game. Shows that the designer is still the master after some other games have begun knocking off previous installments in this series.
