The only problem I have with this game is that the keyboard controls are a bit fishy. When walking around they often don't work, it seems there's about a 30% chance to work which resets after each battle. (On firefox). Also I would like it if we could use they keyboard in fights to select things in the menu.
Suffers from that classic idle game fault where the developers are having so much fun implementing exponential growth that they forget to ensure that players progress at a linear rate.
Had a bug where I had the knife but could not carve the pumpkin face into the scarecrow. The knife was one of my first items and I didn't really go to the scarecrow until later on, maybe there was an issue with something? Like getting the coin/soda? Idk
The screen has a lot of black space, and the controls are really ocnfusing... should be right clockwise and left counter clockwise, not left left right right etc. Overall pretty good idea though
Thanks for the feedback! The black space issue should be mostly fixed, there are still black borders, but less than in the initial mess, not sure how to make this perfect...
Regarding the controls, the clockwise/counter clockwise system seems to be more intuitive indeed (and we did implement it at first), but in the long run it makes it very confusing in some situation, like for example when you change wave and the movement direction is reversed. We also try something in between, where it just keeps the current direction as long as you maintain the key, but then it lacks consistency. We finally opted for the current control scheme, which may not be as intuitive as other options, but is in the end very efficient once the player gets used to it.
the first time I played the game, I just took "dunno" to be one of those meaningless name things, like "Bloons".
The next time, I realized that it was actually just a severe lack of creativity XP
