I might’ve found a bug or easter egg: if you access the museum tab via the right sidebar and click on a trinket, you can donate it. This doesn’t work from the left sidebar with the "Donate to Museum" button, and I don’t think it should work from the town section either—so the right sidebar is the only known way to donate trinkets. You can only donate +0 epic trinkets, since they can’t be crafted at other rarities or forged. I started doing this from trinket level 7 or 8, but I can’t craft lower-level ones anymore after researching higher levels. My completionist side wanted to donate them all. Now I’m wondering if it's possible with better planning—maybe by delaying trinket research until unlocking the museum, or storing low-level trinkets in inventory and keeping just the crafting slots needed.
@kristalpuppy from my experience I can tell you that the hardest stuff to get for the museum are forged items +10, +9, +8, +7. Getting epic might be slighty annoying but what make you really struggle is gathering enough material to forge at those very high levels. Unlocking museum at the beginning would have just slowed you down to donate items that at level 9 are a piece of cake to craft or forge.
@Immortal_Lefty you can always go back to old adventures and gather more material. You may not know this yet at level 2 but at level 9 you are specifically requested to go back and craft every item again and forge it multiple times. I have done it for every level and I am almost finished with level 8 items. I was able to gather ton of low level materials even though I had already killed those level's bosses a long time ago.
As a side note: the 1% chance of getting a great rarity sword was just an example to explain how the fortune teller buff works. I have no idea what are the actual chances of getting a certain rarity. It's probably written somewhere but I don't remember ever reading it.
@wordsmix It increases your chances of getting a specific rarity by 100% for a particular item.
For example, if you "fortune" a level 9 good rarity sword (green rarity), you’ll lose that good rarity sword, but you’ll gain a buff that increases your chance by 100% to get a level 9 great rarity sword (blue rarity).
However, once you craft that level 9 great rarity sword, you lose the buff.
Now, if you're confused about what "+100% chance" means, here’s an easy way to think about it: if you originally had a 1% chance of getting a great rarity sword, the +100% bonus doubles that chance to 2%. It doesn’t mean you’ll get a guaranteed 101% chance on your next craft. You might think they could have phrased it as "it doubles your chance," but I believe they didn’t do that because the museum buffs can increase your chances up to 300% (e.g., turning a 1% chance into 3%). They likely wanted the fortune teller’s bonus to stack additively with other buffs, not multiply them.
Getting material storage capacity to 3000 makes completing the museum much easier. Forging a level +10 item requires 2050 materials and being able to have that quantity available in your storage simplify forging. That's because you can click on the museum tab and automatically forge an item to the desidered level instead of forging every level manually.
I want to thank Onisim for helping me with the Pick Yourself Up badge while not getting bored. I just couldn't bring myself to lose on purpose, yet I kept winning most games. Finally I met someone that was actually playing to win and got defeated fairly.
I have completed the hard badge with run 005 and I had 1350 Income prestige and 1150 Cost prestige. My earth and fire run had also some boost in mana and that helped a ton (2700 fire and 1125 earth). I also had 15 water runes at the start of every run and that helps after every reset to get the auto-buy fastly and automate your runs. However I think I overprepared and spent too much time on run 004 thinking that if I couldn't complete that in 1 day I would never be able to do run 005. Run 005 is actually almost easier than run 004.
I just completed the impossible badge and I did not encounter any problem with galileo or caravanserai, even though I bought galileo after the helicopter.
At 15 floor there's a missing window, I thought I would be able to build something there but even with 8e51 coins no button to build something showed up. Probably it's something that will be added later or it has some requirements I don't meet like having artifacts or a lot of science.
It would be nice to be able to trade 2 or 3 pet skins for 1 of our choosing, so that even while farming wolf skins you can trade dog and cat skins for something else. Maybe wolf and bat could have a higher cost like 4 or even 5 skins to buy 1. I would personally do dog and cat -> 2 skins to buy 1, rat and bug -> 3 skins to buy 1, wolf -> 4 skins to buy 1, bat -> 5 skins to buy 1. At least we would have a way to dump excess skins and not waste them.
The difficulty of these badges is just too high. They take too much time. Easy badges feel like medium, medium ones feel like hard. Haven't got even close to hard badges but I bet they feel impossibile and the impossible badge must be something that takes years.
Is there any way to speed up or skip enemies turn? It gets a little tedious to watch enemies attack you every turn, especially during events and even more so during the horror event where there are so many ranged enemies.
@salened I think the "sell items" option mentioned in game updates actually means that you can buy ammo using items. Open the market and if you are level 15+ you should see some ammo for sale and their cost is basic resources like rubber, glass and stuff like that.
This game needs an impossible badge that requires to complete every island.
The true greatness badge can be completed without ever touching Islands of Pain or Mapmaker's Archipelago which I heard are the most challenging islands to complete.
I just finished the Old World, Dead Islands and Unstable Vortex but I want to clear every island, it's a shame I won't get any additional badges out it.
@TheRealPip to get PP you have to reset your stars in the modificator tab that is unlocked at level 400.
Easiest impossible badge I have ever attempted. Took me a week of serious play to get it.
This game lacks a checkpoint system. It's a bad game but I would be willing to grind it for the badges if it had a checkpoint system. Even a checkpoint every 10 levels, or a checkpoint after you complete those 10 levels 5 times. But without any kind of checkpoint it is absolutely too boring to grind.
Not worth it, 1/5 stars. Could probably get to 2 stars with a checkpoint system.
Does anyone encouter a bug where you can't see buffs and debuffs icons during a mission? This is especially bad against slashers because you can't see how many turns of healing they have left. Is there a way to fix this? I don't see any game update in the last month but I could see these icons just a few days ago.
