Whoa this dog-hatred-of-cats thing just escalated. I saw the levels go from "cats stole our scroll/fish" to "cats should be vanish!". That's quite a leap from vigilante-ism straight into attempted genocide, isn't it?
The protector series is fun, but still feels like the same recycled material since the very early games, despite all the slapped-on stats and skills and whatnot.
to beat the knight jump over the spikes. the far spikes wont kill you. then walk left and die, then set your health to above 0 to revive, then drag the death message so you can hop on it and continue.
seriously, the light units are ridiculously overpowered in this...
get a team with 30% crit/attack speed/dodge and just one rocket turret to cover and secure ground and you just overrun them easily and with no real worries. the only real issue is when they get a ton of turrets down but beign able to spam 12 high DPS units every turn really just turns it into a very simple matter.
Im not certain what happened but while my horde of skeletons was wailing on some guy i fell through a floor, gained 25 levels, and when the game came back up there was a shit ton of items on the ground. possible glitch to be careful for.
being a mage with a cheap spammable spell like "frozen wind" is absolutely rediculous. you can just run into any fight and machine-gun it until you run out of mana and wipe any room you want...
One thing that makes these choose your own adventure games a total pain in the ass is that half the time an option as innocious as "go left" often ends in "oh hey you died." the art's fun though.
