I'm in agreement completely with all the "haters". This game genuinely just didn't make even half of the cut. Games are meant to be fun and enjoyable to play, while this ended up being similar to pulling my own fingernails out on the irritation scale. I also agree with CommanderPidgeon in the respect that the ability to carry hundreds of DIFFERENT weapons to just blast away whatever you desired was what made this series fun to begin with. Hell, I've seen the first few, and honestly think that this guy is capable of better game programming than he's showing. In my opinion, he's either starting to get lazy on the game's mechanics, or decidedly wanted to go more towards a cinematic appearance, like the madness flash series and such. Most players don't care for the story either, and should be granted a more effective "skip scene" feature, as well.
great game you have here. I agree as well that the physics are just fine. its alot less like the air hockey types you find normally and alot more like pool as spazattack mentioned.
Great game. The idea of losing a weapon powerup after taking a hit was a great one, because otherwise it would be too easy. I suggest maybe adding a level or two, and possibly making some enemies harder to kill. other than that, you have a pretty solid shooter here. congrats!
Color me impressed. Once again you have managed to create a flash game that is not only fun to play for the sake of finishign, but fun to pla for the sake of playing. Kinda a rarity recently.
There's a rather dirty trick you can do with two rogues if you want: just focus on attack power, and get one rogue the Hide skill and the other the Create Opening skill. when one is hiding, the other can sue Create Opening to instantly get the 200% damage bonus attack from the other rogue. and then, the other rogue can still get to use their next turn for whatever attack they desire (the 200% bonus only works for one attack, so it is cancelled then). a fairly cheap way to get two rogues to do the equivalent of four in one turn.
A wonderfully designed game that's actually challenging due to the game dynamics itself, and not shoddy controls or poor programming. Definitely a 4 or 5 out of 5 here. Great work man.
Still, a well-balanced game. completely playable, and even more fun, without using an archer or mage. the abilities of all teh characters complement each other nicely, and lead to increased use of planning out a team's strikes.
the mages are probably a little overpowered. even if you decide not to use the spells, get a mage some strength and a good sword, and the Enscorcelled Sword spell can take out any unit in one cast. Sure, it makes up for the Mage's lack of endurance or armor, but it still is ungodly. perhaps lower the damage percent of the weapon used for it.
All that aside, it's still a pretty good game. It shows a level of class that alot of other flash RPGs online never seem to do. the game plays out a little like a story, and if one cares enough to have a little imaginitive fun with it, you can practically see the battles play out in front of you. all in all, a great game, and a great effort by teh developer.
This s a pretty decent version of "Sid Meier's Pirates!".
if you liked this, you should probably find a way to download the real thing.
The person who made this did a pretty good job :)
You can ORDER THEM AROUND.
try clikcing one, then clicking where you want it to go, who to follow, etc.
try not being idiots before you bash a good game.
A terrific game, and incredibly challenging. Definitely a Five-star game, and addictive to boot! Even after playing for so long I can only get to around level 78 of the 100 before dying. Anyone who has made it all the way to 100 is truly a master of tower defenses.
