Found a glitch in the game, very weird. I click to select a unit for a group, then after pressing N to upgrade, sometimes that same basic unit is still hotkeyed to 3 or 4, so when I click the group, it gives me the 'basic unit', again... except it doesn't exist, all my units are upgraded. So I try to click to upgrade from the drop down list above the portrait, right? and it teleports a new unit from across the screen... weird right?
Looks like some type of error appeared somewhere in the game process (e.g. memory overflow). In this case lots of weird things may occur. The best option is to restart the whole web page - this will help 100%.
too many references to Portal... it's really too bad, it was a great game... meh. well done. Could of used a more happy atmosphere. I'm off to kill zombies and order troops around ^v^
Oh and it crashed when I was using IE. try Firefox, it seems to work better there... though I have to shrink the screen since the dimensions don't fit.
I think to be safe I'm going to wait till this is 'really' released to recreate....
oh and I hope it's not too much trouble for you guys to make our player characters a little customizable?... I mean, they're nice and cute models... but it'd be nice.. ya know? ^^
A more well defined hitbox for clicking enemies, to 'focus' on them.
Enemy hitboxes and names/levels not being shrouded by background objects. (IE: Make enemy levels and names force to the foreground, always, so they are always visible.)
I like the idea you have, with quests being given by companions. But, so far, the first quest was already on the 'line', and only unlocked by the friendly bar, letting me proceed... this makes it feel less like a sidequest and more mechanical, which is fine, but kind of takes me out of the immersion just a little... maybe you do it differently with the other quests, as I'm sure a lot of players will only want one type of companion to level up. Maybe they have different abilities, stats, etc... can we check those? I really have no idea if we can...
not a bad game. the Ai is a bit annoying, and it's short... I would of liked more to it then a short stroll through a battlefield.... looked like france maybe...
normally I'd give this kind of game a 3... but because of the nice music, I'm adding a star, enjoy the 4. ^^ honestly, it's not too bad. Just... mm... I dunno.
the music is so great, and the puzzles were not just challenging but fun. Did I comment on this already? Oh who cares, it's so awesome it deserves tons of comments <3
overall, this was incredibly enjoyable. I loved Berzerk Ball 2 so this was a welcome change of pace. Very fun, very good story... "Surprisingly" good story, actually.
I also very much loved how you guys weaved story elements like the necklace into abilities and such. I thought that was a nice touch. I really hope to see more of this. <3
I was hoping this would be expanded on. would be awesome to have live fights between other players. but needing to send friend requests is a bit tedious, would be better if there was simply a 'multiplayer search option' you could perform... *shrug* just a thought.
Mayflower: Ship Designation IGF (Inter-Galactic Federation) Frigate Class warship.
The Mayflower, designed originally for heavy armored transport of cargo and civilians without requiring more then one Assault class escort ship. So named after an original vessel from one of the Core Worlds. The deceptively bulky and unassuming Missile Arrays that make up the 'hips' of the ship are often mistaken to be cargo bays, not modified missile salvos that may be fired at will. A mistake, that often costs opposing ships their lives. *my idea on Ship Descriptions that can be added as flavor text, this also can help with what the ships do. for instance, the Mayflower actually does have an 'active skill' that lets you fire missiles... so it fits ^v^ ... tell me your thoughts!
Oh, and everything could use a once over by an editor, a few words were left out, or other such grammatical issues. ^v^ bur still, things got across, as I said, great game.
