You kill a gray by getting it to lance you, then quickly hitting it. The hardest part of it all is not letting it distract you from the rest of the nest.

When the queen lunges at you, it will sometimes be hittable. The problem is this isnt always the case, and I can't tell the difference between a safe lunge and a non-safe one. Sometimes I'll attack, bounce off, and she'll slice me through as if I hadn't swung at all.

Medal Hunter Challenge: After clearing your save data, play Bounty Run until you die. Your score is how many awards you earned in that one game. Current High Score: 40 (Raina)

arko, some glooples have multiple ways to kill you. a horror can run you down, ninja you with the boomerang disks, or nail you with the move that turns other things into biters. a void eater can hit you with singularity or it's lazer beam. there are probably other glooples with doubles as well

I take that back, it is in fact possible to earn the Unfortunate award in one game. 90 awards total. I like that nice round number. But getting them all requires lasting 20 minutes, surviving being blinded, being bumped, being slowed and swarmed, and after everything is said and done (how would you tell?) you'd have to end it all by getting lucky (unlucky) with a biter by the edge. I'm gonna set 60-70 as a reasonable limit for epic amazingness.

And finally someone who's tried my challenge. I thank you, and congratz on the 29. A lot of it has to do with practice, but there's some luck involved as well, especially when it comes to torchies. I can't stand swinging into one that wasn't there before I swung...

The queen doesn't always show up. You can either keep winning nests and hope for the best (it's great practice and you'll probably get a few other awards as well) or you can kill all but 5 or so glooples and let them keep running off the screen. That way a queen SHOULD eventually show up.

I've had several occasions, even with the Razor Glaive, where a grinder escaped before I could finish it off. It's sort of luck based.

Read the friggin instructions. It tells you EXACTLY what to do if the game is lagging for you, under the heading LAG. Honestly people....

I was aware Razor Queens could spawn in bounty run, just not sure if they can happen there first, or more importantly if regular queens can. If you read my comment about the Medal Hunter Challenge, you'll see why I care :D Would rise possible awards from 92 to 96, but that's still counting the 90 minute badge....should probably get rid of that one. Oh, and my third attempt put me at 40 medals. Had forgotten about it at the time of writing that 2nd attempt comment. 33-36-40. I'm improving :D

I prefer the Hazard Suit, although the Reactive Armor is good if you suffer more to biters than inkies (the ones i have trouble with) At 55 awards, I'd just end up getting both rewards and celebrating

fireskull, had you seen razor queen before then? (as in had the bestiary information) cuz that's quite important to me. Also, what did Rhodes mess up? I rather liked the comments on the awards and all them (assuming that's what you mean by Author)

Unnecessary? Are you kidding? It's the staple of the game. Just look at the intro screen. It also directly leads to the Fuzzle, Horror, and Razor Queen. ----- I mentioned earlier the best way to get 8 kills in one swing. Flip back a couple pages and you'll see it. The way I see it, the Impressionist badge (kill four different glooples in one swing) is actually relatively easy. Two of the hardest in my opinion are dodging the explosion and surviving being lit. They're doable, sure, but very hard. I wish you luck with the last two medals.

Oh and at two tries my current best (and the only best as of yet) is 36 medals in one game, about 6 of which were gold (Blade Master/Excavation). Top that :D

Seeing as it got lost to time, I'll restate my Medal Hunter Challenge for anyone who missed it last time. The challenge is to reset data and play bounty run through ONE TIME ONLY, to rack up as many awards in one game as your skill and luck will allow. With one game the absolute maximum amount of awards that can be earned is 92. Happy Hunting

Correction. 1 Biter + 1 Biter = Horror. RootBeer, if you tell me what two spots are open I can tell you what should fill them. First guess is torchie/frostie. They can only be earned late bounty run or late huge nest. After that the bottom right space that doesn't seem to be a space can be filled with Razor Queen.

If by sets you mean just any different ones, try getting far on a huge nest. there's at least two that can only be found that way. and if not, try bounty run

It's in the options menu. Sorry, I figured that'd be obvious, since it's the only menu item that changes the way the game works.

eragon, it's not assured, but you can probably take advantage of the reproduction of the clutters. Have several, but not too many, stick to you, then shake them off and immediately swing. Chances increase dramatically while using the Razor Glaive and if you set the cap on glooples to 20 instead of the 8 or 12 it's likely at.
