I read the intro screen where it says the music is by Revolution Void and the site where I can get the songs, but the songs are the full versions, and upon listening to some, I far prefer the Amorphous edited versions. Is there any way I can get my hands on those?
I believe it's a better chance with 5 glooples left, but don't quote me on that. And yes, if you meant the razor queen, you must have seen everything else first. Don't even have to kill them :D
I've already gotten the 110 awards badge. What I'm talking about is a personal challenge I made for myself and others, where you clear the data and play a single bounty run game. The goal is to get as many awards in that one game as you possibly can. As I just said, I got 36 this time :D
Attempt #2 sees me at 36 awards. I never make it to 10 minutes....Favorite moment was when a fuzzle charged up, then jumped straight into a green. He went flying backwards off the stage.
Amorphous++? And yeah, mello, that was my reasoning behind each of those. Obviously the inkie ones are possible, as well as killing the high numbers of each gloople, but I figured I'd mention how insanely difficult or luck-based some awards are. By the time you have inkies running around, biters and sharps are sure to be around every corner. It just seems like too big a risk for one award when there's 90 others to earn. And what I meant by multi-kill awards are the ones where you splat a certain gloople a lot of times.
I did some searching and the way I see it there's 14 awards you absolutely cannot earn, such as clearing a nest and dying various ways (you only get the one round)
as well as around 31 awards you might not be able to get, like killing queen/razor queen (can they appear on bounty run?) or things I feel are too crazy hard, like killing 1000 glooples (and while I'm at it all the multi-kill awards) and being blinded by an inkie. Makes the total amount of awards earnable, not counting queen/razor queen, 92. Good luck getting THAT in one game. (oh, and that counts the 20-90 minute awards. after all, they're possible)
First attempt at the Medal Hunter challenge and I got 33 awards in the first go. Died to a sharp while blinded after getting hit because I stepped in lemon goo trying to get the award for being stuck a full minute. I feel stupid.
torchies and frosties appear on the huge nest roughly halfway through, or like Zero said, on bounty hunt. Also, very sorry about your bad luck nate. But in the long run it will make you stronger :D
I abandoned my Pacifist challenge in favor of a new one that anyone reading this can try (or they can think of it themselves). Clear data, go to bounty run, any speed is fine but I'm gonna use slow. Then see how many awards you can unlock in that very first game. After looking through, some awards obviously aren't possible (clearing a nest) but enough are that you could get easily 30 awards in that one game.
The void eater is a step up from the Gray, earned by letting yet another gloople attach itself. Supposedly, the combination of so many in such a small space gives it a gravity well power. I think it's cool :D
The razor queen is found similarly to the queen, but it can only be found after at least seeing every other type of gloople, which you can check in the Bestiary. It's very tough to kill, but if you die to it, there'll be a rematch command to fight it one on one, up to, i believe, four times.
the razor queen is amazing, and don't you forget it. As for my super-challenge, I'm conceding only slightly. I'm allowing myself to kill greens and only greens, which is even harder than not killing anything at all. takes precision. And no, a nest doesn't have to end in a queen.
thank you for that, but actually my question was for the normal queen. i'm trying to unlock glaive without ever swinging, without killing anything. that possible?
On a side note, I made myself a little challenge, to unlock the razor glaive without killing a single gloople (besides the queen of course) The only real challenge there is filling up the bestiary, in which I've gotten everything but the normal queen. My question is, how can I possibly see the queen without reaching the end of a nest? Would bounty run do it?
I'm gonna assume you don't know how. To kill a grinder you need to weaken it's shell. A few ways to do this. 1. Melties. Not sure on the details, since running them over the acid doesnt always weaken it. 2. Another grinder. when they collide they both weaken. 3. Razor Glaive. you'll bounce off, but one hit will weaken the shell and two more will kill it. Without the glaive, it takes 5 hits after you weaken it to kill it.
Getting all awards gives you an impossible badge, the last reward key, and a third slot for abilities, as well as bragging rights galore. What more could you want?
In the last level you'll see another "you" trapped in a corner. Using the stuff lying around you can break in and reach him, unlocking the badge ending. And I'd avoid that portal there too.
My favorite death to date was the one where a biter lunged, missed, bounced on a green just behind me, then instantly lunged again for the kill. Never saw it comin.
