I imagine at some point someone said, "We need a game where trash mobs you can't even reach can one shot you," and someone else said, "Yes. I'm going to make that happen." And now we have Monster Clearer. *slow clap*
After playing this game for a month, I came to realize that I finished the idle game that I came here to play, and that the PvE/PvP side of the game was giving me EXTREMELY POOR returns on my time investment. It's just not worth it. Good community though. I'm gonna miss some of the folks I've met along the way, but I'm done wasting my time on a game that doesn't want me to advance.
I'm a little concerned with the "rich get richer" aspect of this game. If I can never catch up to others who have been here for a while, what can I really look forward to?
Solid roguelike. There's some unexpected attention to detail here, and nearly everything feels well balanced and somewhat realistic in mechanical terms. My only gripe is the timer, but it's a non issue as it really doesn't affect anything aside from achievements from what I can tell. Anyway, keep up the good work! :)
I gave this a 1/5 on the play store, and somehow it's even worse here. The core mechanic of skipping your turn when you roll a one is very broken, and the dice feel "loaded" to roll ones... even more so than the mobile version! Add to that the extreme and unreasonable rarity of uncut dice (used as currency AND for crafting) and the PvP that is impossible to make progress in, and you've got a game fit for the trash bin, which is a shame because if this game was even remotely fair, it would easily be a 5/5.
