Loving this game! One of the very few games on Kong that I rated higher than 3 stars. It only loses points for being too short. Otherwise, I can't think of any way to improve it. Keep up the great work, Arkeus! I hope to see more from you in the future.
This looks like a lot of effort and attention to detail went into it. That being said... I could not get into it. I just can't get interested in CCGs. But, that's just me I suppose, so I'll hold back on rating this for now.
andyman_aus Believe it or not, a 500k or even higher score is possible, just extremely rare. I've been playing this game pretty often for a few years now and haven't seen any high scores in this game that I would consider hacked or impossible. My own high score is over 450k, and I figure I was very lucky to get it.
Step 1: Set to low quality
Step 2: Play one level with no problems
Step 3: Play another level at half speed
Step 4: Play different game, because this one is now so slow it's unplayable.
A great game, done very badly. Waaaaaay too much luck involved on the gameplay aspect, and the slowdown after just five minutes is completely unacceptable these days. Was worth three stars at first... now I'm thinking it barely gets away with one.
Protips: 1) Quit and restart until you have a good layout. Eggs hatch extremely quickly in the beginning, so that's the best opportunity to grab gold eggs. 2) Try to stick close to the edge. Cutting across the middle breaks up groups, which means less golden eggs. 3) You can move/use a skill while the collected cutie "souls" float to their respective locations. This means free moves (red), or using a skill just in time to recharge it. ... Using these strategies upped my average score from ~100k to ~140k and netted me a high score of 210k. :D
Intensely bad platformer. Most of the time you can't even see the platform you're trying to jump to. This one must have been cranked out in 2 minutes flat... it's just THAT bad. 1/5
