Different, addictive. The art is great and the concept is fun. Controls are easy. But you don't need much response time. More like endurance. Internal badges are fun. Upgrades are OK. Air Support too easy. 3.5/5
Game was kinda fun, but then got buggy mid-campaign. All the guns went to (0,0) (upper-left corner of screen). Had to reload the game and resume - even then, selecting weapons with mouse didn't work. Upgrade process also buggy or doesn't make sense. 3/5 with potential
Ok, Kongregate, I get it! Good games don't need badges to entice people to play them! Meh! This game is fun! Nice to haves: score tracker per maze, add a story line to take players from maze to maze as they pass a certain level. This has makings of a dt that can go beyond dt (see protector). BTW - the guns are a blast when they go psycho! 4/5
I like the concept, but couldn't get hooked. Love the idea of the monkey - don't like its speed: either the game is deceptively difficult, or boring: that can work with games like chess, but there is soooo much potential for, well, monkey-shines (!) that I gave up after first round of easy. At least add some monkey sounds! 2/5
Very interesting concept game. Needs to evolve a bit. Instead of gathering coins, it would be nice to trick out the pogo-stick thing - like give it jets so you can give yourself a burst of inertia in-flight. Climb-the-wall is clever, but not as well done as in fancy pants world 2 - the threat of slipping makes it a challenge. The transition between levels is pretty lame - would like it better if you had to travel between puzzles. What works is the challenge of aiming the shot and turning the player to the right angle. What really doesn't is the lack of any sense of timing. 3/5
Couple of buggy things - can't seem to buy spells after returning to a saved game - the gold is there. but the "buy" is inactivated. Perhaps the cost is displayed wrong? A guide to the various villagers would be helpful - the sandbox kinda helps. The hand sometimes doesn't track properly with the mouse - usually when there are a lot of villagers running around. Gauntlet seems to become deactivated - the short cut fails to activated it - if by intent, there should be an explanation (I enjoy these, btw - funny!) Boulders and giant heads should be able to crush huts - and huts other huts. One last idea - should be able to pick up villager and pound them against the ground, not just throw them. A costly move, but potentially graphic and gratifying!
