I hate Level 25 so much. Also the snake levels. But mostly level 25. It's so boring. So tiresome that it resets every single time you make one mistake. There's no lives. Nothing but boring boring level 25.
Thank you for the feedback and kind words Razkili. After I finish a few quality of life changes, I plan to expand on the game with new mechanics and additional levels. Please look forward to these and thank you for playing!
I really enjoy the Inspector Parker style gameplay, but this game just needs some tweaking to make it as enjoyable. The items you click on are so small they hurt my eyes. They also look far too similar, and aren't colour coded in an easy to spot way. With both the items and the backgrounds being coloured it's not great. The suggestion of making all the other items grayscale when you click on a clue is a good one that will make things pop better. Items should also remain in the same location in each square which makes scanning them easier. I'd also like to be able to mute the background music on its own while retaining any sound effects. Giving it 5 stars for potential.
I did love the game so much. It's such a nice little concept of a game.
I'd have liked some more endings with details of all of them unlocked available on a menu screen. I wanted an option to see the grass and enjoy it. I wanted an option where I didn't have to sacrifice anything and could just play it as a farm game and miss the entire point. Maybe throw down some feed for the chickens. Or just skip days without doing anything at all. I wanted to be able to hatch eggs into chicks or even just have them all lined up.
But that said it was fun.
I loved this game. The automatic switch to full-screen was a little disconcerting. The misspelling of my name made me think I'd typoed it and I went looking for a way to change my name. But, it's funny. I'll admit I'd have liked the chance to correct him, if just to emphasise that it was a deliberate mistake. The branches puzzle was tricky and the only thing I had to look for a walkthrough for since I just didn't understand that you had to make a box. Also the stars beneath it acted as something of a red herring for me. Other than that all of the puzzles were perfectly logical, with a decent level of difficulty. The memorising puzzle didn't go on for too long (I dislike those ones.) The game itself was just lovely, and I really enjoyed it.
I also can't seem to get the lift for the caterpillar to work. I've tried clicking on everything to no effect. I've looked at both walkthroughs on youtube and they don't help. I've finished every other part of the game so there's no fisherbird floating plug left. I did take one item and add it to the lift, I'm not sure if there's another?
This game was so good. I really enjoyed the puzzle elements and it left me wanting more. Off to get it on my tablet now. Actually off to get the bundle on steam and the tablet version. While the controls were a bit fiddly I did manage to get it finished. It was the right difficulty level for a relaxing game.
I love Cat Word Poker! It's so much fun to play and I just wish that there were other players to play against. As things are now the only time there's a chance to play against others, instead of the bots, seems to be during the Word Challenge Hour.
Thanks for coming back! I'm glad some people care :) I'm aware that there hasn't been much activity lately - I did anticipate slower periods as I was taking Kong feedback and developing for new platforms, hence why there's the Word Challenge Hour to try and concentrate players.
I'm currently working on a trailer for the Facebook release, before releasing my android/ios versions. It's just me working on the game, so getting everything ready at the same time for a simultaneous first release would take too long (and riskier to hope it's right first time).
Poor dog. Such a heartbreaking story.
I loved this game! The graphics were fitting and it was such a good idea. I'm glad all the endings weren't miserable. I found the start very difficult, it took me a while to work out that I had to dig out the rabbit and then hold the dog to the right to escape. I think the way the dog kept sproinging back confused me. With no in game feedback I couldn't work out what to do.
I also found a bug. Once I did the sheep in the pen ending, I accidentally got trapped in the pen second time around (couldn't open the gate from the inside) and had to reset the game since I was stuck.
I really enjoyed this game. I'd almost finished it before the patch landed. The patch did make things an awful lot easier. I didn't have to try and strategise what clovers to breed together anymore, it just seemed to randomly mutate and give me everything, which removed some of the fun and difficulty. I was disappointed that once I filled all the museum screens there wasn't some sort of CONGRATULATIONS screen. And I was expecting a shiny gold clover, or a five leaf clover, and nothing appeared.
The game was a fun time waster though.
These games were so much fun! I enjoyed the story, especially the way it was told without words. The find the difference parts are tricky, but I was glad there was a hint button. I'd like to see more of their adventures.
When I get my house maxxed out at 126/126 I'd have liked some sort of celebration or fireworks or something! Just now it doesn't feel like much of an accomplishment. Otherwise I liked the game, it was a good little time waster.
I am so disappointed in the lack of an ending. I have maxed everything, have all the recipe pieces, and not so much as a CONGRATULATIONS! It's disappointing. I'd have also liked in game achievements, or challenges, or something.
The controls are annoying. The game does work though. Once you've selected the numbers you want, (they'll have a white outline) you then click again on them in order to drag them.
I experienced a bug where the game glitched after I broke the wall, and provided me with a blank wall instead of the screen where I'd be able to signal the boat. I really, really don't want to replay the entire game again due to a bug. It would be nice if we could restart each chapter individually. This is just so frustrating.
Agile Red was the most difficult of the achievements for me. But I found that using the first, smallest hull (H1 Grig), the other components fully upgraded, and the thermo-resist, I was finally able to easily get it. The small hull size made dodging a lot easier. (I found the H3 Wasp went just a bit too fast for me to dodge effectively with it.)
The two songs while playing the game are first The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's Medley of Carol of the Bells. And then George Winston's version of Carol of the Bells. I really wish that these, and the rest of the music, was credited in the game.
