Customer: I need a hat. Me: Jedi mind trick! These are the items you're looking for... *hands over sandals. Customer: This was exactly what I had in mind! *puts sandals on head and pays up.
wow bad bug: at the end of the game I equipped the endgame spell on the slot E. When it asked me to enter my name for a highscore, i typed E and it cast the spell again, so now I have to watch the ending all over again.
I feel that this sequel has gotten too micromanagement heavy, in addition to the standard dragging units around to hit the right targets, I have to spend too much time running units away from spells/worms and waking them up from sleep to really enjoy the strategy aspect..
Lol when I completed the first room (where the man hangs himself) and suddenly a long credits scene appeared that seemed like ending credits, I was all: O_O I hope this isn't the entire game! Good thing I stayed to check for more XD
Badge says "Blow this thing and go home".. but there's no wormhole back to the home base after the last boss! We end up stuck in deep space for all eternity, stranded in a whited out universe with a big victory sign in the background, shooting fireworks out of our now invisible ship....
What originality? This is pretty much a downgrade of Elona Shooter (http://www.kongregate.com/games/noanoa/elona-shooter). The only thing this has that elona doesn't is a crafting system, which is pretty meh since each ingredient seems to only be able to craft or upgrade 1 specific mod. Everything else, from weapon mods to multiple heroes and skills can be found in Elona shooter.
You are right! :) My co-author was inspired by Elona Shooter, but I didn't play it before, so, in the overall the game is 50% original :)
To be serious, I suppose, we have enough differences from Elona: different ratio of weapon damage/units hp, different weapons, like rubber bomb or shrapnell. Shooting the grapeshot works differently here. Of course, Elona is cool and has very detailed PRG system, but we wanted to make our game more focused on shooting and added only the necessary additional elements.
the worst part about the ai isn't that it can't walk around walls, its that the penguins seem to target randomly, often choosing the turtle that's furthest away from them EVEN IF THERES ANOTHER PENGUIN ALREADY THERE. (In fact, that other penguin is likely coming over to this side as well to kill the closer turtles >_<)
My lightning ninja can kill goliaths, sweepers and even rampaging ogres while charging forward with his eyes closed! But a simple paper door will be the death of him.
Its a platformer version of the kingdom rush TD lol. While I give it a 5/5 for the awesome concept, it is lacking a bit in the tower component. You only ever get the 4 basic towers it seems, upgrades just make them overall stronger, no new special effects or upgrade paths.
