Why people are having trouble with this is beyond me. The best strategy is a bit too obvious: Bomb shots. Put missile + bomb + speed next to each other.. they can be size 1 even and it'll work. Then just hover around the edge of the circle and keep building bombs until u feel ready. Then go into the next circle with your infinity bombs all shooting in all directions. Use the evos for growth and armor, place armor next to bomb and you get to use those infinite bombs as shields even. The only hard ones are the enemies which shoot super huge and fast missiles. Those don't damage you by the time you get there, but they have HUGE knockback, which may make your celle implode.
rogue class is actually one of the best, but its hard for beginners because it requires quite a few medals, good aim, and good strategy. And you need to find a good weapon in the first few days, otherwise restart >_> lol
remember.. depending on your set up one wave type may be cake or hell for you. On a rogue with revolver.. i love beserker waves... those are the highest exp ones that can be headshotted with ease and die in one hit. An autoshotgunner turns crow waves into mush. A grenade launcher handles dragonfly swarms easy. About the only wave with no "weakness" is the Exploder wave.. because it flies across your screen faster and faster as the game goes on and they have giant exploders that won't die in 1 hit.
the enemy waves that appear each day are random. if you fail one wave, just go back to title, reload , and retry. You'll get a different set of enemies which may be easier. Tip 2: UPGRADE SHOP as fast as you can. You need good weapons and good weapon mods FAST. Best way is getting a good shop (unless u want to restart a lot). By day 4 u should have AT LEAST 5 shop slots so you have a decent chance of finding a leech mod (leech makes you regain hp when you shoot enemies sometimes, which helps loads.)
oh nvm u got it working. And you're supposed to wait until you have more firepower/defense to use it. although it's a huge exp bonus so the earlier u manage it the better in some sense. (if u're not on hardcore, just try over and over with a grail cup)
@xboxer how many inventory slots do you have, which slot from the left are you putting the sword in, what does the description of the sword say when you hover the mouse over it? Do you see the white number in the slot with the sword? When do you press the number? Try waiting for an enemy to appear, if you press it too early sometimes the game hasn't started yet.
there IS no perfect games bug. its just people misunderstanding how to get a perfect game. You need full hp at the start of every wave (after the repair) AND at the end of the day.
@xboxer you put the ragnarok sword item in one of the first 5 slots of your inventory. When the game starts, press the number representing the slot it is in.
guardian is one of the best classes to have really... it gets a huge ton of party skills: Love, Leadership, Defender, Threat.. (these are the good ones, theres more)
agreed with dbowmon, would be great to have teamates with brains for once XD
I wish we could set priority firing for our teamates at least. rather than saying dont shoot air or dont shoot armor in total..i would prefer "don't shoot storks" and "SHOOT THAT EXPLODER FIRST!!!" XD
@Mike mods can't be taken off weapons. The only thing that removes mods from weapons is reforging, which removes the last mod but DOES NOT give you the mod item back.
Best Advice for newbies having trouble: Upgrade your shop AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Luck is very important, so you better reduce the impact of bad luck by having a big shop. Especially on Day 4, which is Mods day. If you have a decent size shop (at least 5 spaces), you have a good chance of getting a leech mod, which is absolutely essential for survival later on. (if you don't get a leech mod or a good weapon by day 4, i suggest restarting.. its only 4 days anyway)
chosen one is 150, i forgot what savior was. On another note... just beat ragnarok on day 8 with a 3 man team! (rogue/guardian/noble) finally.. after like 20 retries haha XD
lol someone glitched the ratings.. it was like 4.28 before.
anyway: @ziggy i have never really seen that problem, but you can still shoot off screen enemies by using an auto fire weapon.. click on the screen and then drag off screen to the spot where you think they are probably standing.
