Well i suppose levels dont really do anything for a hunter hero, but for a duelist/rogue/noble levels are kickass. Just made lvl 600 duelist on day 268 from shooting all the rats.. which is probably the reason your ranger lvl is so high.. since you aren't shooting the rats yourself, your teamates get a small chance to.
@ Dbowmon YES THEY ARE! Duelists are the haxest damage you can ever find, they beat nobles to dust because they get exp faster (Killer) and get larger damage bonus. You never have to party and bosses just go splat!
I disagree with Justavian here. Although letting your hero play by itself means you can play longer by multitasking your real life duties at the same time, you're missing loads of extra gold/exp that you can only get in hero mode.. such as getting crit shots on a rogue or shooting the parachute rats. In the end you're going to lose out on these and not be the best you could be. Although you pretty much dont have to be. Just a simple point to show why this is: You're on day 640 and only level 383 on your hunter. Meanwhile I'm not yet day 300 and i'm at almost level 600 on my duelist... because I have always been playing hero mode and making sure to kill every single parachute rat that appears.
Just looking at the skill sets each class gets, I picked Duelist, Ranger, Guardian, and Noble for my team. That way I get access to every useful party skill: Cook, Taunt, Engineer, Breeder, Leadership, Defender, Threat, Accountant, Supplier, Negotiator and some more. Furthermore, Noble and Duelist get base damage bonus so they stay good damage regardless of how many days pass. Ranger gives rampage bonuses and Guardian has auto shotgun with impact mods to keep stuff away from the wall. Noble and Ranger both using Gravity Guns with reloading mods (they spawned with them, since you can't attach yourself) that said, i'm only on day 270ish.. got kinda bored with that when everything i touched died instantly without any partying.
Btw, having autofire is great.. because with manual fire if u click before you're ready it will slow down the recharge some more, to the point that sometimes you can spam click for a few seconds and fire absolutely nothing. (longer if u dont realise quickly)
@rotwang saying things like that makes me understand why u're failing.. the damage on base has to be a number/number otherwise getting perfect games with repairs gets wayyyy harder. @zxypher it does exactly what it says.. it turns your gun into an auto fire one (meaning you can hold down the mouse button instead of spam clicking). And it increases the fire rate too.
really weird game... just spam buy units and put them in reserve, max your patroit and art of war and then your defenses and then sit and watch your units own every battle (while you hold down potion buttons if u need to)
the 500 damage thingy seems to be achieved merely by having 500 damage in stats, u dont have to actually do battle for some weird reason.
u'd think snipers base skill would be like +inifinite accuracy or something >_> but nooo its just a damage bonus (although its the biggest). If you really need accuracy, Noble gets the most since their base skill adds it, but hunter gets decent amounts too since they can shoot beyond without accuracy penalty.. (although they dont need it since they use bowguns..)
Go with Revolver on a Duelist... get a Ranger(Active/Breeder) Guardian(Love) and Noble(Cook) as your party members. Max your Killer skill as fast as you can and try to crit shot EVERYTHING. You'll get +70% exp (more than noble) and a much larger damage bonus.. to the point that at full adrenaline you can take out bosses even with their shields up.. and likewise the armor/air mobs without using any anti armor/air /partying. Remember to hold down your space bar while firing, and to always get enough cool skill before increasing your fire rate (which u'll want to do often) That should get you pretty far on normal/casual. Hardcore is a different story because the first wave may be exploders and then u'd go splat.
the best gravity guns are NOT the 6 slot ones... they are the ones that appear with Reloading mods attached XD. Although i suppose you could have both, but the odds of that are horrible... u'll probably have to restock like over 1000 times before seeing one.
Perfect game means you have full hp after every repair (from the repairmen) and at the end. The repairs happen at the start of each wave, before the enemies appear, but not at the end, so getting lots of repairmen pretty much means only the last wave counts... just got to make sure absolutely nothing hits u on the last wave.
Soo.. has anyone figured out what Fame does? its not displayed anywhere, and i'm 90% sure that it doesnt let you get titles because the titles seem to always be on the same set of days even when i dont go searching.
@toposte Bad idea to have all gravity gun. They are good at crowd control, but u can't aim for fast moving things like that... so you end up missing exploders until REALLYYY late game when u have tons of reloading skill to the point that your entire playing field can be covered with gravity guns... at which point u face 2 other problems: Gravity Gun damage doesnt measure up (unless u're noble or got hax villa), and gravity gun mk XX costs a huge ton more than other gun types.
every day you start with 4 ap.
If you have active maxed, you have a chance of getting 0 to 10 more ap.
If you have the right medals, you have a chance of getting 0 to 3 more ap. So the most ap you can start a day with is 17. That said, the go searching thing sometimes gives more AP, so you could very well go over 20 ap.. although why you would need so much ap is beyond me, especially now that taunt seems to be fixed so if you taunt too many times u get screweddd.
