I haven't even started the game yet, and just looking through the comments, I can tell I'm going to enjoy this. Thank you SO MUCH for releasing a sequel to the original game!
Day 75. It's been well over a month since I've seen daylight. The demand for enchanted armor has proven to be difficult to meet, but we seem to be doing alright. I struck a deal with the dwarves to get ores faster, and we've quite a backlog of material now. My son, Flynt, has burned himself a few dozen times trying to work all the ores into bars. My wife almost collapsed at the enchanting station earlier. Until she's feeling better, I'll have my daughter enchanting things with smaller enchantments. As for myself, I've seen little beyond the forge. My arms are now perpetually stuck in a swinging motion from hammering the bars into armor. What in the HELL is going on out there that all this is needed?!
(Yeah, I'm liking this game so far.)
If you ever plan on adding new structures, I have the perfect idea for you: Chocolate Factory. The manager can be "Will E. Wonkers" and all the upgrades will have some sort of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" reference in it.
I seem to be having a problem with the game loading. I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or not, but it's been happening for the past few days and I can't play now. It'll get to the loading screen, right up to where it says "Loading objects: Canis Major Scene. It'll say it's reached 100%, but then it will jump to about 93%, reload to 100, jump back again, and over and over again. It's happened while using both Chrome and Firefox, and I don't know how to fix it.
So far, this is a wonderful improvement to the previous game. The ability to improve your shop during the night, when you'd usually not be able to do anything, is a nice touch. The only things I really want to see come back is the ability to haggle prices, like you could in the first game.
Pro tip: if you're stuck, just start typing some popular text in. I found that completely typing in "The Star Spangled Banner" helps me out quite a bit.
Found a bug in the game.
I was destroyed in the area right below where the Great Oak was. When I loaded the autosave, it put me in the middle of a stump; I can't move.
Amazing game. I only have one qualm with it, though. The Rouge has very little choices when it comes to daggers. If you could, maybe add a few more weapons for the rouge into the game?
This is a beautifully made game, I love it. I didn't know what to expect it terms of graphics, and what I saw was astounding. There's still a little room for improvement, but it's a wonderful game.
