This game is severaly overrated. I honestly believe the rickroll deserves #1 more than this, and that is saying something.
Potentially, this game could be great, and I see that some fixes were made from when I first saw it, but it is still really just an extremely long and boring waiting game. I don't see how one should be penalized so awfully for winning battles faster. As someone else said, there are definitely balance problems.
Some/most of the graphics are good, so I like that. This game isn't bad at all, and I'm sure it would have gotten more interesting had I kept playing (I quit before I saw the whale). There are problems, though, as the people before me have mentioned.
5/5 very polished, great dialogue and design, and something different than the usual generic overdone stuff!
I don't like how April has tiny withered midget arms and almost no shoulders. Yumi kind of has small shoulders but it's not so bad.
This game is very interesting.
I can see the clues now, but my eyesight was far too bad to notice the tiny arrows to figure out that I was to move my mouse counterclockwise to continue the story.
I think the game deserves a 4, but I'll vote 5 to counterbalance the multitude of idiots I see in the comments.
Much more polished looking than the old version, what a pleasant surprise. However, it is a little ways off from satisfactory! >:I
Absorb makes me cry, but I guess I should just go cry some more.
In any case, the largest problem, of course, is how time consuming it is. I've tried things like surfing the internet and leaving the level on, but that makes me lose lives, and there really should be a better solution, you know?
Yikes, I'm not even going to comment on the battle mode, but I would like to say:
This isn't a bad RPG at all. It might be just me, but there seems to be some kind of a REVERSE grind; it was very hard at first, but then it became too easy at the end.
This was mostly because starting from level 8 or 9 I started taking advantage of that yellow glow worm in the first cave. It was a free and easy 500 exp, and after about two levels I didn't even need to go back to the healpoint! Technically, I could have maxed my level before meeting the first boss, but instead I beat the boss and then came back to max my level.
Honestly, I'm not going to say that this is the best game that was ever created ever, but this is pretty good, and I am surprised that it captured my attention for its entirety.
"if you really think it sucks, it would be best not to say that and keep it to yourself," says ndnpride07.
That is an astonishingly moronic thing to say. What are comments and ratings here for, endless praise? Jesus christ!
In any case, this game operates at an unbearably slow rate, I stopped playing shortly after enduring the tutorial.
It's pretty, yes, but it's also pretty unoriginal! There's not much else to say, a lot more things could be done to improve this, like being able to see how much magic one has, or something, you know.
This game is glorious and amazing, and I love it. The concept is wonderful, as well as the whole look of everything.
This could even be interpreted artistically, I guess, since the gloom and grey could be the calm and boring normal things, and then "enthusiasm" is used in the instructions to refer to height of the flames.
Very cool, 5/5.
Nice game, but just a bit buggy, as they have said.
I got my badges in the first two games. On hard, Fred Thompson walked right in front of us, so we just surrounded him and slapped/hatcheted/money bagged/??? him until he lost, it was pretty terrible and not-hard, but I'm not complaining.
I never heard this game until someone mentioned it in the chat. :3
It is pretty cool and VERY much like fl0w, but there are some qualms I have with it.
The sounds are kind of annoying sometimes, ESPECIALLY when you collect a lot of bubbles at the same time. When mashing the mouse button, it can be hard to tell which bullets are mine and which aren't.
The biggest, baddest one looks just like all the other ones, just big. And after you beat him, there isn't anything, I guess.
As for the badge, it is as they say. Keep heading in one direction.
honestly, it is kind of unfair how if you restart the game in hardcore during a battle, the enemy's health fills up but your character's doesn't. My window spontaneously combusted. I loaded up the game and my cleric was dead and my mages were doing pretty bad, and so I lost the game because of it.
