yet another reskin of the same game? Not sure how many games like this you have, but in comparison, your own (?) 'Battle of Antartica' (which is older) appears to be less laggy, with better grammar... Tip of the day: if you reuse an engine, improve on it?
Guess I was thinking along the same lines as entel: Vampirism + large area of effect attack makes even lvl 7 ridiculously easy. just span dssd and collect cash.
exterior quality seems bugged, can't get it to 100% no matter the high quality items i buy... and i noticed that when accidentally deleting my pool once, quality dropped by more than I got back when rebuilding the exact same pool at the exact same spot... don't tell me pools are like wine and supposed to improve with age?
really unbalanced, laggy and bugged: levels 1-17 are far too easy, mainly used for building up an ammo store for lvl 18. Lvl 18 is ridiculous, but should still be doable if not for the fact that with larger bullet counts, hits stop registering. Don't see the popint in a level where enemies approach me faster than hits can be registered, even if i riddle an enemy with 20 bullets, most of which will not lower his health...what's the point if he reaches me regardless of the nr of bullets i hit him with...
not too bad so far. couple of notes however:
- upgrades seem limited, could do with more variety, balance etc (I was done with max upgrades half way through, but did not seem to have enough firepower to deal with bos-battles later on)
- difficulty could do with balancing: most of the level is really easy, only boss can be difficult at times (takes ages for boss to die)
- seems to be a bug that during gameplay, the fx for firing weapons 'mutes' accomopanied with laggy firing. Can only be reset by refreshing game
yup, hard mode isn't hard, just spam space/crtrl combo, pretty much an all or nothing type war, only a few cases when you might tactically choose between different targetss (mainly letting AI fight over the same target).
Still, 3/5 for now, 4/5 if more in depth with upgrades etc.
Fun enough game, but I see 2 major flaws:
1 - responsiveness is lacking (koala doesn't always respond, seemingly because an animation first has to finish before koala can respond to a new move again)
2) game is impossible to beat sometimes, even at lower levels (for example, if you have all 6 bamboos/sides covered with bugs at the same height, there's no possible way for you to get above this.
3/5 for now, 4/5 if both aspects solved
Agree with the black bullet/black background being difficult (although not impossible, finished game on hard setting without too much problems, just don't stay still and get a 'feel' for the bullet flow.
add some nicer upgrades (bigger variety of permanent guns, not specials), more levels... You might want to save the black bullets for harder settings only (maybe add an additional difficulty setting like 'nightmare' or something)
It's intentional ;), on penultimate level of first chapter this enemies appeared and there was info that you must observe background "clouds" to see bullets. But thanks for comment, now I see that making this bullets for every one level difficulty is bad. I will repair this ;)
nice game, but really needs:
1) speed up button
2) remove the click to collect, just annoying really...
3) better description of what upgrades do (still not sure if 'reload' speeds up cooldown to select the unit, OR unit cooldown after firing...
add drag and click or similar, add select all, and tweak balance of unit spawning (I played with only upgrading helicopters, so since I don't actually spawn tanks or rocket troops it appears I have waaay to many helicopters spawning :) )
+1 on the hitbox, it's huge compared to the ship (mainly vertically, but it does allow for stupidly little maneuvering space). I would implement some type of upgrade screen, increase screen size (i feel kinda claustrophobic flying around, especially with the biggy hitbox) and add some more variety.
I think PvP is pretty much impossible: No matter what status I have (hostile or not) or whether I shoot at blue/red labeled players, I never damage them, and they never damage me. Combined with having a mission to make my first pvp kill, that's just damn annoying!
nice game, route-finding could be better (cavalry charging a fountain is a bit silly), think most other improvements are already suggested. Good story (well, same old story but funny enough) 5/5
you just got a 1/5 for lying to me, i wanna kick out Selena too, and can't even get to kick her out on bored.com after finishing.
Liars are almost as bad as Biebers
not sure if it's a bug, but after researching chassis to lvl 4 I got Alonzo to sign up for 100 bucks per race. I'm sure He can appreciate my 733t car, but this is a bit silly :)
annoying bug: after being summoned for a duel, somehow a ghost enemy remained (probably a summon?) endlessly chopping away at me teammate who kept healing. In the end, I was stuck in the arena, powerlessly watching the enemy team (who's heroes happily died by my hand in the arena and were thus respawned in the main field) chopping away at my castle...
