Kongregate... I would be so happy if you were to just release this game back to its maker, where he can put it on a site with people who more like this game. where it may be played. by more than 2 people at a time. where...ah forget it. this thing will die sadly.
More on the point though, why do we get 4 codes? you never need the fourth one in any puzzle... it just makes them even more braindead obvious than they already are.
Honestly this game lacked focus. I found the style at the start interesting, then it changed. the plot went preachy and was never resolved. And very very soon I stopped caring about what all these random things had to say to me. the puzzles were either too simple or just random. etc etc. interesting, but not good.
All I can say is... it's dynamic. Had I focused solely on the "given" task, it would have turned out a cheap, but probably fun, adventure (something like a Drizzt adventure). But I chose to let the story evolve, and have the grey rainbow serve as a catalyst. but I never made it preachy or expository, I detest that.
Oops I dropped my scalpel on your hearth, erm... better wiggle it side to side so it can sever that pesky aorta.
Oh gods I can't seem to move the damn heart out of there LUNG GET OUT OF THE WAY! NEW HEART COMING TROUGH!
erm...
old heart still in the way, erm... I think with enough wiggling things should drop right into place right?
BAM GOOD AS NEW!
Yeah, yet another card game with the same mechanics.
Also, what kind of idiot thinks it is a nice idea to make people wait and play some games before allowing them to have any form of card or ability that gives you tactical choices. (block vs attack in this system hardly seems to matter until you get cards that affect them...)
Regeneration and checkpoints are something I'd like to see. as it is now, the game feels too harsh on your mistakes.
a shield could also work nicely.
the slimy/octopus upgrade seemed... not all that usefull. perhaps work it in the level design more?
