Okay, the buy! thing is unnecessary and annoying. the working thing is hilarious... Laundering... XD. I think th update is good. not really good, because of that annoying BUY!-thing. But the GUI makeover is a big haul. Oh and the music is better too, if anybody cares for that. What I think is a pity, you can't see the effects of the upgrades at once, you first have to close the upgrade screen. One minor annoyance: If you +100 the donut shop, the button is nearly completely hidden behind the award popup. There is some debug potential.
now gimme my 2 cents
5/5 first of all. You even got the German right! You pointed out the fundamental flaws of each Theory of Good and Evil, and this in common language, with Kant in the lot a very good accomplishment. I once tried to read Kant (in German, I AM German after all) and the English version looses complexity through the translation, from what I gathered. Trust me, in German it is a nightmare, the only more complex philosopher was imho Martin Heidegger, don't bother with him or expect to get your brain twisted. It took me ages to figure out what he was trying to explain. For moral I prefer Heinleins explanation: Moral is something that was developed by humans to build a society. If the society works, the moral is legit. If not, the society crumbles and with it the moral values. Enough now, I'd like to get my two cents
Well its a clone of Burrito Bison, with a similar bad story, hilarious Items, Bad Graphics, and very fast played through 3/5 +1 for obscurity in the end 4/5
To get the secret levels, you need to find the secret positions. The levels that have a secret position are easily recognized, the background only changes when you move the mouse. These are secret position in the levels are 1-5, 2-4, 3-5, 4-4, 5-7, 6-1. + to keep this alive
Sorry I didn't enjoy this game. It's quite frustrating that u can't figure out how to make this 'faith' jump. Graphics are okay, Sound is good, but the game is utterly frustrating, and the story-line is non existent. One suggestion: If a player dies every time at the same place u should give a hint.... 1/5
Now some suggestions for Jackass 2: To put Levelling into use, only give access to certain parts (in the shop, in the smithery or whatever) after a certain level. Also could you connect the levelling system to the weapon leveling (e.g. Gold for the longsword only with lvl 35 or something similar)
So much for the review, now some playing tips, especially for those who want to play levels again. You do realize, that the rewards in the "poorly locked treasure chests" are random, right? And you do realize, that there aren't enough levels in the story to get every epic weapon? Just keep on playing, there are many treasure chest after the defeat of Dudley. (BTW who named the bad guy "Dudley"? Just hilarious!). Another tip: Don't save up to much epic gadgets, they exist to be used. Infact, I used them quite frequently. One advice though: If you only have 1 of something and you don't plan to put it in a epic gear, dont use it. It is a part of an epic gadget you don't have the plans for. It could be useful later.
Okay, it takes quite something to make me comment to a game and actually review it. First of all 5/5, I played it through. Normally the Papa Games make me puke after a little while. The Annoying Customers who always want to get served as soon as they order tick me off. This was solved pretty good here. It doesn't matter how fast you are, just get your weapons together as good as you can. Then I like it, that you can see your work actually paying off. Plus you can play the support role in battle. Yes, some of the weapons are hard to put together, put no pain, no gain. And the level-system of the weapons is something new to m. I played the game through and roflmao seeing the reward in the end.
