is karnivore stage too easy? its supposed to be about the same as the den or a tiny bit easier, but supposed to keep u busy for a while. Ill fix those bugs when i get off work.
Hi FallOfMars, The reason why a lot of Co Op games allow players reborn is to reduce the urge for ppl to quit after they die (afterall its gameover for them, should they wait 3 minutes with nothing to do?). We like your views which will help our upcoming big update. If solo is still too hard then I should try to balance the difficulty better, people should find the last 5 stages hard, but not too luck related, I admit that I have not tested solo as much recently bcos Co-Op was such a big problem first.
let me know if there are still any annoying bugs around, the owls seem to be behaving lately so that one might have finally been squashed, and Ive just fixed the reset button bug too, keep me posted. cheers.
v3.3 is just a tiny update on the hive stage, there is a new hunter ship - a small pest that chases you and the stage has been extended and a bit harder. will be looking for bugs to fix aswell as a major expansion for characters, maps and long term direction.
oh one last thing, ive never been able to see the owls bug for myself, and i still cant find why its the only boss that dissapears, ive updated the cave stage so please let me know if the owls are still being a nuisance.
reborn with full hp, but only 2 lives. ground units reborn floating v slowly in air so u dont fall into holes, no longer get trapped at bottom of tyberius. This version mainly tries to balance the difficulty better, solo easier, and most importantly co-op is harder, some of the last stages have been extended and should renew their challenge to the experts. Simon has improved some of the UI graphics.
thanks glob we are noting down ideas for expansion, ive just released v2.8 which doesnt add much on gameplay, but has the chatroom that ppl wanted, and the updates should be less of a pain now. ppl should have less trouble seeing latest versions. the den has been made easier in some places, and harder in others, better balanced i hope. but let me know if its too easy/hard. ive added a fire ring pickup so planes can stand a chance against the boss.
ok v2.5 ive added ur refresh button, but you can only quit before or after a round. the den stage was too hard before and thats been corrected. its still hard, but more fair now.
if you guys refresh and can see v2.2 theres a new final stage. just did an all nighter and gotta work tomorrow so theres no ending yet, and i didnt manage to fully test it
in V2 I have made the co-op harder, especially the bosses. Hopefully that presents a fresh enough challenge for the short term. I will be designing new stages and bosses but that will take longer.
aw crap, were gonna have to move the game server soon, the office network is a bit unstable from time to time. ive added up to 75 rooms now. dealing with the problems asap, improve framerate, screen chaos and harder bosses. chat will come soon too.
ok ive just released v1.7 and most of the co-op bugs are fixed, the hive stage also works now. hopefully when things are more stable, the next step is to make the game last longer. generally im thinking bosses need more hp.
sorry guys but Ive had to remove the co-op till the bugs are flushed out. If u are still playing, could u tell me if the game is too hard/easy, which stage u are reaching etc, and any good ideas i can add for the next version.
