Can someone help me with level 20? I'm doing EXACTLY what it wants but it's not working for some reason. Here's a picture of what i got for the setup http://prntscr.com/ppac4i
I didn't realize this was made 4 days ago until i checked the comments, and then the date, just now. I was just checking the devs "earlier" work XD Great game though, beat the whole thing. Gave it 5/5.
Sorry for a third comment, but it's also a good idea - SAVE MECHANICS! I left the game earlier today thinking it updated from the thumbnail change, and came back to literally nothing - not a single upgrade purchased. Had to do everything over again. Still a good game though.
Perhaps some spell to turn the NPCs (Perhaps a select amount depending on upgrade amount) into zombies. Watching the NPCs run around in terror as the player messes around with zombies and humans would be great fun - and maybe the zombies will - after terrorizing the NPCs - kindly toss themselves into the cauldron. Perhaps after a select amount of time depending on the level, they will do this automatically so as to not make it too OP - ignoring NPCs on the way.
People are talking about more idle and less idle stuff; imo, you should add both. Right now, with max upgrades, NPCs can still manage to make it out alive - even if they have to reincarnate to do so. Perhaps some more idle stuff - maybe something near the end as a kinnda "final defense"? - would stop this. However, that being said, there's still the matter of people actively playing the game, and they want to mess with the NPCs. I personally find throwing them in the cauldron, or waving them about the night sky fun, sometimes throwing them infront of the big-spell machine so they die that way... but that's about all i can really do once i've gotten max upgrades. I don't have much to suggest on that part, other than perhaps some spells... Like one idea i literally just got which i will detail in a 2nd comment due to character limit.
According to my achievements list, i didn't replant the thriving meadows.
But hey! I replanted the enchanted forest. And hey! would you look at that, i replanted the charred grove, and oh wow, i even replanted the forsaken desert!
Infact, i beat the entire game. Yet i didn't replant the meadows?
"Brilliant victory sir! Nearly as the walkthrough said!" "But... 3 out of 4 hostages died... how is that-" "Nonsense, Sir! That was a brilliant victory! You mustn't doubt yourself! Not with your brilliant work!"
Ok, so, after finishing the game;
Car can deposit you in otherwise inaccessible areas, such as the nearby lake from which you then cannot escape http://prntscr.com/pjemvt
Pumpkin Garden lags like heck, idk why this is but i went through it twice (because i thought not being able to drive with a pumpkin was a glitch) and it lagged painfully both times.
Everything else - "HEARTH" instead of "HEART', other car shenanigans (such as going backwards cause of autoaim), etc, are all accurate to my experience.
Great game though, 5/5 imo, would love to see improvement on the above glitches and bugs but it was fun (And hey, as buggy as it is i loved the car :P much faster to get around)
Thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll try to get as many of these issues fixed in this and in future games as well. The next ones should be a lot more polished (this one was made in less than 3 days initially, for a competition, so many of the features lacked polish and care).
Ok, so given my amount of inaccuracies i shall refrain from posting until after i've played the game, however i would first like to correct myself;
Cars, are quite broken. They autoaim (Great feature tbh) and can sometimes even decide to go backwards due to enemies. When i had thought the skeleton was propelling the car away, it was actually the car that was throwing bones; not the enemy.
Sorry for the inaccuracy, i shall dislike my comment related to this incident.
On another note which i just now realized; i think by "HEARTH" you meant "HEART" (I thought by hearth you meant like, an actual hearth. Then i realized you probably meant Heart due to the general theme and the fact i got a heart.)
Got both ends thanks to the clue from Ississ XD I just don't get how the secret end helps any. If someone were stuck in this situation, they couldn't get free cause they don't have the key, sooo they're still stuck. The diamond doesn't help any with that XD
Great game, though. Just pretty short, but that's alright cause it's a jam game which the dev said might be made longer and all :D
Nice game! beat all the levels and my only real complaints are the ship controls (If the ship meets your cursor, it'll suddenly decide to go into the exact opposite direction until you decide to move your mouse or it's ramming into a side wall.) and the loud noise whenever you pick up a "power up" (do these powerups actually do anything? It seemingly made no difference in gameplay but i could be wrong) and when you select a level. Otherwise, the game looks and plays pretty well :D
Is it just me, or is the growth amount in Mamushi ridiculous? XD like, 2 body parts per pill or something, i seem to die more to my own tail than the enemy pills. Great game regardless.
Me: "examine greg" Computer (C): "Does not compute, lolz" Me: "look" C: "What kind of person do you take me for?" Me: "look around" C: "Come on, it's not like this is a hard game." Me: "help" C: "Maybe you're not smart enough to handle a text based game, after all..."
Yes, because "look" and "look around" - the two commands IN THE TUTORIAL - don't work -_- Also "Commands" does the same thing.
That moment you die in a training match and it still takes away your progress .-. XD Nice game though, came for badge of the day, plan to leave with all the badges.
Suggestion: Make a mode where you still can get coins, but they're invisible and don't make noise for graphic purposes. Bots trained to gather coins still can collect them along with yourself. Would help alot for when you have many coins flying around at once.
