What a submerging experience you offer to us. This is almost confusing, to find a game of such quality on here, for free. The amount of people that ask you to pay for at times mediocre games should feel embarrassed by your effort and its result.
The graphics are nice, music well chosen, details such as when you zoom in to your ship mining also "zooms" into the sound, meaning you hear it louder as you get closer are the nice finishing touches that show someone who cares about the details.
You listen to FeedBack, you seem to want to work at making this game even greater. May I suggest to you that you keep at this and put it on GreenLight when you feel ready to, because you deserve some monetary praise besides the nice compliments.
Seriously, it is almost absurd you made this by yourself at such high quality and with such modesty. Enjoy the nice comments, they are a nice reward for all your hard work. Much obliged for a great game that is definitely not a waste of time :).
Though I know the games to be of great quality, this resolution blocks out all those who don't have the eyesight of an Eagle. Seriously, could this not be changed to make it much more accessible for all who want to submerge in this game, please? Either way, much obliged for what I expect to be a great game, but sadly don't get to fully see.
A game worthy of achievements, if only because of its originality and level of challenge. While I agree slightly with the comment of how the effects are tiresome on the eyes, I still have to commend you on your usual pixelated graphics. Simple but pleasant, definitely not a waste of time. Much obliged for another nice game :).
Nice little game but I would like to be able to change the settings to using arrows... If that could be arranged I would be very much obliged, and so would every other AZERTY user. Much obliged either way for adding your game and for the very cute graphics :).
Great graphics, smooth gameplay too bad it is all so expensive. Though I completely understand wanting revenue for a game you worked so hard on to make, if you place it on sites such as this, at least ensure that non-paying players are able to compete with the paying 1's. Obviously money should give you heads up, but allow those who won't spend any to at least have a great percentage of the total game experience. The cost for those who won't pay should be the punishment that they have to grind and save up money to get access to about 75% of what the paying gamer gets. The incentive to buy is to get a shortcut to all the goodies, without the effort. Otherwise, just make a game that asks for a fixed price and allows for total access or don't put it on a site that SHOULD be all about free-to-play games. But at least, you seem to provide quality and I say much obliged for that :).
Thanks for the feedback, Sarah. We do adjust prices (and other game mechanics) as needed at times to help adhere to a balance between free players and paying players. Everything can be earned with time, but making purchases will of course provide a shortcut to certain things. Many of our top players are, in fact, completely free players. =)
How about adding these,
- 1 man's dud is another man's upgrade, so why not let us get some money by selling the duds?
- Allow us to sell the gems if desired.
- Include some sort of errant boy who goes off to the BS for you so you do not end up clicking hundreds of times to watch the BS craft duds. This would be like an upgrade, the more you level this up the faster he hands in the orders.
- Let us purchase some upgrades for the picks, very expensive but so as to not have to just craft duds but enhance what you have.
I would also like to be less stuck to this game, so I could go do other things please.
Have a nice day :).
Nice game in concept and graphics, even the sound is nice. But I found myself allowing for my spaceship to get hit just so I would get downgraded and have a faster and smoother running game experience. Surely that could never or should never be the aim of any game. I lowered the settings but to no avail. Unsure if you could do anything about this, but I much rather play a nice game with a spaceship which looks like 3 circles than 1 with tens of them but which leave me frustrated when I try to move from 1 arena to the other. Still, much obliged for an otherwise nice game :).
This feels like the perfect formula for a game. Easy to make money, some gambling, fast loading-time, no need for great focus, allows u to be idle and still play and it all scales up nicely. Very addictive indeed, now badges would be nice, full marks from me CROVIE. Much obliged for the game :).
After seeing the message, "sorry, I crafted a dud' my mind started to play games with that and made it into "sorry dude, I crafted"
What it means on subconscious level, do not me for I do not know. Now I must go back to click click click. I say it is the graphics which got me hooked.
Much obliged for the game :).
The sequel is as good as the 1st and not only that, it is also still as fun as before to be wrong and click undo repeatedly just for the music you create while doing so. Which other game rewards being mistaken? Much obliged for another great game :).
Nice game but every so often the blob just stop appearing and I have to refresh the game. Using FireFox. Much obliged for a fun game :). Great job on listening to suggestions of players and for the built-in walkthrough, though I have yet to use that. Have a nice day :).
I thought this game was very poetical, had great graphics and was so very philosophical. Seriously, will you be making a sequel? Much obliged for not wasting my time :).
Great game but, should not be based so much on the randomness of your finds and headshots should be well, rather lethal and finally I would like to be able to change the controls. Much obliged for a great game though :).
Much obliged for the game. Had fun but if was wondering if it is either bugged on my side or just how you wrote it.
- There is no HP bar of either computer or character.
- You get to infinitely recharge either bar and pay for full restore, even after having restored.
- Graphics could be improved if you wanted to.
- animations of attacking get lengthy after a while.
In all I liked the concept and hope you will be motivated to create a sequel. Like I said, much obliged for the game :).
I'm glad you like the undo - I find tapping it wildly can be quite satisfy too! :D If it's a really long level and you just want to try it again you can press the exit button and the "replay" option. Thanks SarahPlaying!
No, not cool... The game was so fun, perfect simple graphics, nice conversation an old/new friend (depending on whether you played the 1st game or not.) and then... no, not cool.... Still much obliged for the game, I guess... but still, no, not cool... Have a nice day making a sequel where of course, the robot will be repaired, right? Yes, yes cool :).
This is also based on the movie that was made based on the book. You should mention this if only to do justice to the people who did the graphics in the movie version. Also, seeing Bastion is 1 of my favourite games I feel I have to say that it has nothing to do with the story telling of your game. Don't get me wrong, I like your game but it just has little to do with Bastion which in regards to voice, story and music and in a way graphics by many if any. That said, you made a great game and I enjoyed feeling like I was playing a part in that movie. Much obliged for making this game :). Have a nice day :).
Thanks Sarah! To be honest, we only really watched the Flatland movie after making this game (and have only seen one of them - there are quite a few), so it was all derived straight from the book itself.
I kind of agree with what you say about Bastion - the similarities are that we use a single, somewhat unreliable narrator to tell the story through voiceover, and there's a tonne of differences (not the least of which is that Bastion is more dynamic). The idea that the game is 'similar to Bastion' was actually something we heard a lot from others, and at some point it became a useful shortcut to describe those similarities. 'Thomas was alone' seems like a better touchstone these days, but it's again quite different in many respects.
very nice of you to say, i can't express enough how much i appreciate everyones comments and support. i swear, its fuels me to keep pushing it.
