Tips: 1: Don't unlock a lot of cheap guns early on save up for the more expensive ones they give much better rewards. 2: You do not have to unlock guns in order you can use the catalog to unlock any gun you can afford. 3: To get the level 3 achievement develop a system for dissembling and reassembling and stick to your system instead of mindlessly taking apart and putting pieces together. 4: While a part is being removed/put on position your camera so you can click on the next part. 5: Always do the Quiz when you can if you if you don't know a gun don't choose 1st gun doesn't matter.
@killer I believe his point is that only a limited number of people will ever be able to get first on a daily high score table. I have checked certain early gun models that are unlocked and some of those requires you to disassemble and reassemble in a little over a minute (at least on the day of this post).
@roca I have noticed this too on so far all the guns I have unlocked past the AK-47 which removes the chambered round after the clip was removed which had no rounds in it.
I can see that a lot of thought went into the making of this game. I have noticed that quite a few of the hints have misspelled words though but the brilliant gun models and examples more than make up for this. Also thanks for putting in the safety rules for safe handling of fire arms. 5/5
Would be a lot better if the alien spaceship fought back.... Right now as it is it doesn't have any real difficulty, it is just move your mouse and wait for money to be collected. Basically what you have here is half a game find a way to spice it up please. 2/5
Spikes in games really have no issue. Let me explain if you were able to take one of these spikes from the game and put it under an electron microscope, you would see millions of nano sized spikes coming from the sides.
Maybe add a button to disable dialog on the ones you have seen before? Having to hit space bar over and over again and seeing the same message gets tedious.
Hey - I like this idea. I will probably add a flag for checking dialog that has already played and screen it out. It is random at the moment and it does draw from a pretty big set of options. Even so, I have played rounds myself where I see the same thing 5 times in a row. EVEN I scream out "WHY! HAHAH!". Thanks for the play and the comment - Totally appreciate you taking the time to check the game out! Best, -Tim
@Meteora if you would like to see what updates were made take a look at the anti-idle update thread in the forums. It will list every thing that is new or changed in the game.
Was lagging pretty bad (even with the game paused). So I wondered how many resources is my computer putting in to playing this game. Answer 1,167,544 k even while paused. For me pretty much every game on kong runs at 268,000 k (numbers from task manager). So by comparison bubble tanks 3 runs at nearly 4.4 times the normal kong game while the game is paused. This makes the game virtually unplayable for me. Looks fun in all but I don't want to spend the next 10 minutes and only wipe out 1 bubble.
Esc seems to change your cursor from the target back to a mouse but it doesn't free it from the game window. This will most likely make it frustrating for players as they then have to close the browser. Other than that it seems to be a pretty good start. Personally I would like to see some different arenas with different layouts (maybe one with hall ways). Found it rather odd that I could call down an orbital strike with a thumper (aka M79 grenade launcher). 3/5 for now (I will be back though to see what gets added)
Im really bad at 3D Modelling i am more of a 'Coder' Type person so i couldnt get a different model for everything but i am hoping to change this in the near future.
Apparently the spelunker achievement doesn't work (one for going down 50 floors in the unfinished dungeon I went down to floor 53 and didn't get it). Also anyone else think that the first 45 floors seems vastly underpowered for this dungeon being an end game dungeon?
The way these guys respawn reminds me of replicators from SG1. As for lag issues I am guessing that the game treats each block as a separate entity. While nice that will eventually cause a lot of lag as the enemy's continue to replicate. Liked the concept though. :)
So there I was looking over a cliff when suddenly I get pushed from behind. I spin around while falling shooting a zombie on the way down. Unfortunately for me by falling in to the water I bypassed many areas *sad face*. Maybe add some sort of water monster for those unfortunate to repeat what happened to me? 4/5
*Face Palm* must have some how skipped over the reset function when reading through the control list. Well after playing for a bit I can say this will be a good sandbox wonder what type of machines people will be able to make with this.
Tips:(1) Always aim for the small fast brown ships they always explode like 20 shots and always drop a bonus. This will help bring in massive amounts of gold if you manage to get a good combo from it. (2) Buy the first max combo as your first buy then buy the special wave upgrade this will help you make tons more points which in turn makes you even more gold. (3) Do not even really worry about shooting the bigger ships with your main shot you will just waste it! (3) When you have 3 grabbers the little gold ship becomes a good thing to aim for as ships on screen will become gold worth like 20 gold each. 5/5 one of the best arcade games I have played in a long time!
