Oh yeah, because this game is HTML5 (meaning information like with Java games are NOT stored on your computer, unlike Flash, which when you clear the cache, your game information gets erased), your progress should be saved when you exit the game, but it's not, so if you come back to play again, your progress is lost as are all tokens earned. Another FAIL.
Sorry, but this game is a fail. I was hoping this would be like Bubble Witch, but it's not. Further, the in game buttons don't work. The pause button doesn;t respond, the music button doesn't respond, you waste tokens buying powerups you can't access because those buttons don't respond. FAIL. Developer, please fix these issues! And before anyone says, "Well, what browser are you using? You shouldn't use IE11." I know this. I'm using Firefox, a browser completely compatible with HTML5 games. Also, the game freezes up temporarily while playing which costs precious seconds. Again, the developer needs to fix these issues. This game isn't worth playing until the problems are fixed.
OK, as much as I'm enjoying this game, where's the store where you buy the explosives and lucky clover and stuff? That's part of what made the game fun!
OMG!!!! GOLD MINER'S BEEN CONVERTED TO HTML5!!! So it IS possible to convert old games over! The other site I play at is just lazy and LYING when they say it's just too time consuming and hard to do it!!! Looks like the other site is going to lose me in the next few years. I'm going to finish the (sadly, many) badges I purchased there and then I'm coming back here full time!!!! Scr*w that other game site of money-grubbing wh*res!!!
@Eazul, yep, took me a bit to figure that one out too, lol. I kept trying to give the kid to the helicopter and it kept moving away and I was like, "WTF? Don't you want the kid? TAKE IT!!!" lol
@Gads332. THANK YOU!!! I got endings A, B, D, and E, but just couldn't figure out C, lol. I guess as much as I used to think about suicide, it just isn't in me because the thought of committing it in this game seriously never occurred to me!
@thepandypandas: There is a save button. It's automatic. You actually get three saved game areas. You can leave at any time and your game will be waiting for you when you return. HOWEVER, if you clear out your Flash Cache, you'll lose all saved progress.
After this game supposedly loads, all I get is "RUSTY LAKE." with no option to click on a "Play" button. If I click the screen, it takes me to another website. Is this no longer playable on Kongregate?
Well, to the developer: Nevermind, lol, I didn't need a walkthrough after all. Less than five minutes after I contacted you, I figured it all out. I was unaware that the pyramid was supposed to go on the pillar. Once I did that, everything else fell into place, and I finished the game. Thank you! Also, I just LOVE your games! You are a very creative and talented person! Please keep the games coming!
So, aside from being able to GET the chickens, what was the point of getting married? She doesn't collect the eggs. Looks like the developer messed up. Should have made the farmer a woman since I'm doing all the work anyway, and it would at least have been more realistic for the man to be sitting on his @ss while I do all the work!
Thank god for walkthroughs! And thank you to jayisgames for posting them! As others have said, "Obscure clickable locations is right! While it's a good game, it gets too frustrating trying to find the "right" areas to click on, and too much of the time, you wind up hitting the wrong ares, and there's nothing to indicate what the "right" areas are!
When the guy at the hotel offers you room 12 or room 14 after telling you there is no room 13, which room are you supposed to take? Or does it not matter?
Good game, but frustrating trying to fight the The Kraken or whatever it's called. This is even when trying to follow bugoji's advice. I finally beat the thing, though, so, yay! 4/5.
