Also, I highly suggest doing as many training fights as you can. By the time I did the "tough fight," it was so easy, I laughed. You also get a lot of gold and gems/stones this way, and you still level up. It makes getting through the actual fights a real breeze. I hope they never change this feature. I really hate pointless grinding, so this feature is great!
"The horse looks hungry." OK, there's hay all over the place, which is a horse's NORMAL food, but let's walk all the way over to the garden and pick two measley carrots. That will satisfy the horse's hunger...
I needed to partially use the walkthrough. Thankfully it was easy enough to follow. When I saw everything was written in an Asian character, I got fearful. But luckily, nothing needed to be read, just watched. Very nice game, otherwise.
Well, I've made some progress. I now have 6 gems, I've opened all the doors but the one in the "basement," I've solved all the puzzles except the one that requires the glass to be put on the plate. I'm missing two of them. So, I'm stuck again. Any help would be appreciated. I've been playing on and off for about five or six hours now. This is very frustrating.
I'm massively stuck, and the walkthrough won't load. I get a mostly blank page with: "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage." I am running IE8. I cannot use IE9. It crashes my system. I will not download another browser. There is no reason why IE8 shouldn't work. This is very frustrating.
If at first, you don't succeed, try, try again. Very nice game! I was frustrated for a while with the 4th door/room, due to my eyes only seeing 3 numbers, and not 4 from room 2. Once I realized there were four numbers, though, AND you need to repeat processes in room 4, it was a breeze! Well done!
Gave it 2 stars. WAY too difficult! Takes forever to figure out how to "zoom" in on things, even with "aDAYforNIGHT's" help. The end is interesting though (if you finally get to the end), so that's where the game is given the second star. Otherwise, it would be only 1 star. A real shame, because the graphics are cool, and the music fits (obviously).
Oh yeah, for the three color combo, use the three "pictures" on the wall to the right as a key. Just keep plugging in those colors in different combinations. Eventually you'll get it.
Well, I never did get the egg, but I finally got out of that hell-hole town! Firefox, you need to organize your "walkthrough" better. It's WAY too confusing to try and follow. I never could find the last three birds! Therefore, I never got the stupid egg and couldn't free that chained guy.
Something's wrong. I tried following firefox12's instructions, but they didn't work most of the time. I still can't get the supposed golden egg, I can't get the additional puzzle pieces, etc. This game is too hard!
I was on the phone with a friend while playing this game, and we both commented that the music is both beautiful and one of the pieces is eerie. I found the game itself intriguing, but at the same time, frustrating in parts. Still, I am happy to have found another game (a rarity) in which I did not need a walkthrough. With just a little time and effort, I was able to figure everything out by myself, and reached the ending. True enlightenment!
I enjoyed this game immensely. Only two things that bothered me. 1. As someone else said, what's the point of the letters that you can't read anyway? Seems like that's what should be used to write the code down on, not toilet paper from a gross outhouse. 2. I was forced to use the walkthrough in order to figure out how to find Annie. I guess I just didn't let Lily sleep long enough, but that should have been a little easier to figure out than it was. Otherwise, excellent game. I would love to play more games like this on Kongregate!
