I do not agree with the magnet being fine. At the first 3 levels, it does next to nothing. Sure, at max it's good, but it really should do more at lower levels. Maybe just make it cheaper if you don't want to improve it?
Very impressed that you are still fixing stuff. Now, it may be a problem with the engine, but it would be great if we didn't have to get into position to attack. Missing all the time is tiresome. Mages moving up and back and up before casting is tiresome.
I'm happy to to see the developer is making improvements. A few issues still remain. 1) Bosses are better, but still a little overequipped. At level 20 with the best equips and buddies I can get, I am getting destroyed on level 15 dungeon bosses. 1-hit kills. Not fun. 2) My guys miss ALL THE TIME. This is not OK in a game where combos are so vital. 3) Performance and resolution really took a hit since the speedup. Hope you can fix that. 4) The superlong (that means anything over 25 rooms) dungeons ARE NOT FUN. They are tedious. I just pray for stairs so I can skip the boredom.
A large part of the difficulty problem is that the enemies are equipped too well. The level 16 ordinary enemies are better than anything a level 16 avatar is likely to have.
After playing a bit more, I've concluded that the impossible bosses and slow profession growth just ruin the game completely. What could be a 4.5 star is a 1 star game.
Your intentions may be noble, but unfortunately Kong can't host stolen games as far as I understand it, no matter the intent. Here's hoping that this forces MaxGames to upload it to Kong.
It's a little choppy in performance, but the only real problem, and it is a biggy, is that the game chooses which enemy we are aiming at. So, if I see two words, and choose the "wrong" one, it won't count my attacks against the one I chose and instead treat my typing as an error. Fix that, and I'll go from 2 to 4 stars (from me, 5 stars would require that you revamp the graphics and performance :))
Game doesn't choose who are you "typing to" - you do it by typing the first letter of a word, and because in 99% time there will be only one dino with word that starts on this letter (by design), there's no ambiguity. You just need to be aware of what keys you're pressing :) Also, at any moment you can press backspace, which will delete the current word and give chance to type another word. As for performance - I had problems with it only when I was playing on a 2 years old netbook (so: with slow computers the fps might drop). Btw, making this game took me 9 months, and currently I'm working on another project, so little chance of coming back to make any changes.
It's sized terribly, the language is off (look up muffin, please), and the stuff is translucent. There is a shell on the wallpaper. If you don't want that one to be valid, let up search by picture. The art is weirdly interesting, but that is all I like about it.
Hm. I'm glad you can keep your upgrades, but the fact that you use the same currency for permanent upgrades as temporary tower upgrades means that players are best rewarded by grinding a few suicide games just to upgrade the permanent stuff before even trying to do well in the game.
Well, I tried to plug through a bit more. The hitbox/aiming issue is still really unpleasant, but I got better at it. However, on level 11, I simply cannot fire fast enough to kill the healers in the later wave. I go from full hitpoints down to nothing in no time simply because I can't kill them fast enough. And this is with max lightning, max damage, 3 points in speed, and 2 in crit.
