Nice game, very fun, challenging too :)
Only negative point is when you try to draw around the edge of a no draw zone. Instead of completely cutting off the drawing tool which can break the player stride (and this f*** up so many attempts of mine for so many levels) you should just let the drawing tool keep drawing on the spot.
Nice game, very fun, like the little winks at another mortal IA
Only grief: when I try to pick a power to use, my game screen scroll down. It gets very annoying very quickly.
The game is really hard because you have to click one beat before the number you actually want. There is this sort of one beat lag. If I click while the button is on 3, it won't stop on 3, instead it'll stop on 4.
Either a design choice or a mistake but it's hell annoying...
There was an older version of this game, with graphisms nearly identical but with a normal doll to explode instead of this weird blue alien, anyone know the name?
way too slow a grind for money, and diamonds are useless until end game which is waaay too far away
The humour is new but the gameplay is so broken that it's not funny
Amazing game, for once playing the mad AI!!! >:D
One remark: I very often find myself scrolling down when trying to select a bonus or action. maybe place the action bar (or bars) on the sides of the screen instead?
A bit hard to be precise, the controls don't seems to do pixel by pixel unless hit very sharply. Else, I always loved this game, and this is a nice version :)
A good novelty, mixing up concepts from several oldies games
I read that you'll do a version 2, so here's a few suggestions:
A tiny bit more adherence to the paddle. At least in the first levels of the game. Then as difficulty increase, the paddle get more and more slippery.
Also, I played with the mouse and I found the paddle very slow, it felt like I was forcefully dragging it around with much efforts, you might want to look into that.
Interesting but I would of gone on reverse with the commands and moved the snake and not the background.
It's extremly hard to know when you're about to touch a wall, you can't see where the snake is in the air. You should find some warning system to implement.
I had the snake rotating rather than the world, however it made it nearly impossible to tell distances from the wall or food if you can't rotate the to view the environment in different directions. Using the shadows to view where the snake and good is in the environment makes it a lot easier. This games was intended to be difficult, and playing around with it for a while, it does get easier, it is just a bit of a learning curve, but my opinion on the best way to handle a game like this.
Thank you for the feedback, it was a difficult game to try to build a "correct" way, just because of the way the view is.
You should add a start button, to let the player anticipate the game start.
The controls are confusing, clicking the buttons (which are very hard to see at first) is not a reflex. Arrows don't seems to work for me
The goal of the game is unclear, and it's very very hard to see where you're going and where you are
The good points: it's really a pretty game, you put efforts in it and it shows
