(to Oober1) I take it you mean without the Razor Glaive? A couple ways. The rule is they take FIVE (5) sword hits, AFTER their armored shell is shattered. To shatter their armor, you could either crash two Grinders together, hit one with a Grenade, or drive a lit Torchie into it (which may very well epically obliterate you, as the resulting explosion is devestatingly dangerous).
Slaying a Grinder is 100 points on its own-- make it count if you manage to take one out, by getting it in a x3 combo with anything nearby. ^^
My top score is 6:37. :O I figured out that you can actually save time by dying while manipulating checkpoints in some circumstances, though really there's only one or two spots where that's optimal. Using the Rocket Dash to save time is a must, but that almost exclusively applies to areas you're backtracking through rather than enemy-infested corridors.
Anyway, beautiful game. :'D
Somehow you managed to make a game that is somehow both Zen, and action-filled. What the. :O
<3 *fives* Was a wonderful little game. Camled me down a lot even though I kept dying trying to Flawlessly beat the second half of the stages. :) The graphics style is awesome and reminds me a lot of the DS game TWEWY.
The reason I love this game so much is because it puts a very different spin and flavor to the Tower Defense genre; nothing is on a track, everything is freeform, you have to think more creatively on how to deal with each oncoming threat. Yet at the same time, there's a sense of ambience, even when you're in battle; you can play this to relax even though it's an action kind of game. :D This game's a masterpiece, and I've made a private resolve to obtain that 60-point badge in time. :'D
By the way, two THELs wiped up a fleet of 15 Motherships without a hitch. :O You shouldn't underrate them.
I love this game. :D I find it a good stress reliever.
To you whiners about the Kreds: "Love what is, don't hate what isn't". You're gonna lead eternally unhappy lives unless you follow my advice.
Game's busted. It's stuck on the loading screen. x_x It's like this on every other website with Snake TS too. They better fix this problem in the near future or I am going to have to strangle their kittens.
New one up: "Gypsy Man's Clockwork Frog".

As far as difficulty goes, this one is just average. The twist is that just staring at the screen is difficult; don't give yourself a sensory headache trying to perfect the combo here. ;)
Yesterday I beat all 15 levels. TODAY, I went to Candystand.com and finished all 30 "Expert Difficulty" levels they had in their community-designed Player Pack #1. It took me about three hours to do that. I feel like I definitely know enough about the game and the psychology involved to make some awesome levels for it. Like with the game Exploit, any levels I design will get the code posted on my Profile, so check back occasionally (though I'll post a Comment when this happens as well). Peace! :)
Started designing a level that should take several days to finish. Decided I'm going to become one of PR2's greater, well-known level designers. Really I'm sick and tired of the custom map section constantly being flooded with the same map over and over again, and nothing but mediocre crap-maps day in and day out. We need to take action against this, and the best way to combat mediocrity is with excellence. I may take this issue to the forums too; it's Serious Business™ you know.
(to bonton) Great, 'cause I got another one for you, right here.

It's much easier than my last one. n_n Tried any of my other levels?
New custom level is up; my hardest one yet. Kudos to anyone skilled enough to solve the "Treacherous Tightrope Carnival".

I am SUCH a nerd. Who else would spend over two hours just to create their four-character party? Take a look.

Didn't turn out half-bad, IMO. Of course though, this party is a bizznatch to play as... No Rangers or Clerics anywhere in that mix, not to mention I set it on Extreme Difficulty. Yeesh. @_@
This game is worthless. As far as game design goes it limits you WAY WAY WAY too much. If someone wants to make a TD game, they should go out and learn ActionScript and program it themselves. One star.
Fun game. ^^ Definitely not the kind of game I could get addicted to, but it was fun for a short while at least, not to mention imaginative and well-put-together by the programmer(s) (I liked the Events the best, of course). I do feel like the combat engine was somewhat limiting however-- there were some creative tricks with status effects and whatnot, but in terms of RPGs in general you couldn't do a lot with this system comparatively. Still a great game though, and I give this four stars. :3
