1. You need to explain the sacrifice mechanic in the tutorial. The tutorial explicitly said 'that's all there is to it' which is a blatant lie.
2. The sacrifice button would fit nicely in the main screen instead of the expanded inventory.
3. The expanded inventory in itself seems useless to me. I'm at the next to last level having never used it.
I am going apeshit if this gets badges. It's funny how every comment that makes sense (aka how about creating something new for a change) gets downvoted. If they weren't so damn lazy Flipline would be able to make some of the best games on this site. If they weren't so damn lazy.
Seeing the comments, people are asking you to build what's basically a full-fledged conversational AI. That's very ambitious, and a lot of work, but it seems that's the idea for the game. A magnificent idea alltogether, but, like I said, a lot of work in the AI departement.
You seemingly added buttons to the achievement scrollbar, but they don't work. Either remove them, or make them work. As a sidenote, maybe there's a solution for this I'm not aware of, but using the mousewheel in Kongregate makes the entire page scroll too instead of just ingame, which makes it annoying.
It's too bad the guy walks a bit slow and I'm reluctant to try again, but wouldn't it be possible to plant that last chestnut, and before the tree grows go grab another to plant at the area behind the final one?
Nice game, although the invisible walls were a bit much. One small note: When you keep some keys pressed, then die, it'd be great if you have to re-press any key to actually start moving the next guy. I find it very annoying the new spawn immediately starts walking.
I see the dev is still working on this. So here goes for you:
- Make sure new balls appear only in between shots instead of when a shot is flying around
- Make it more clear what the hell is causing the game to lose (there's no clear visible timer and I don't even know what the upper hud bars are doing)
- Let the player gain the line of sight at the moment he receives a new ball, not when the score is added.
@lilpete100 Considering the definition of a black hole as a singularity that's a pretty weird remark. The fact that it bounces then didn't strike you as odd??
