if it had a pause you could reposition your mouse after every small set and win too easily. what it NEEDS is a "continue" button in between each level so you can take a break between each one

the trajectory of your arrow should be shown with a dotted line or something
it seems better to keep a battle lasting as long as possible...you gain more exp that way
