Okay game. Not the best compared to other similar games, and there's not much that separates this game or makes it unique from the likes of Frantic or Enigmata. 3/5
I wish the skill scrolls told you what the skill does.
Don't buy Investor: +5 gold after each quest. It costs 2000 gold, so you'll start making back your money after 400 quests...
Kongregate, why the hell would you try to make money??? Especially by charging for optional content that's not required in any way whatsoever to play this game and have fun! /end sarcasm
for everyone that says this game is a copy of frantic, frantic is pretty much a copy of Raiden X and plenty of other games
Some things that I liked about this game (that were better than Frantic): more simplistic, shorter levels (!!!), nice simple graphics (I guess this really depends on a person's perspective though, could be a good thing or a bad thing)
Some things that Frantic did better: more options in terms of upgrades, no need for grinding for $
Turn order is decided randomly.
so sometimes one turn you go first and kaos goes second, but the next turn kaos goes first and you go second, which allows kaos to make two turns in a row.
Sometimes you will get two turns in a row if you go second one turn and during the next turn you go first.
I think increasing initiative increases your chance of going first.
About draining hp and dying, I believe it depends if the attack that killed you is strong enough. If MLM has 10 hp left and he drains 20 and the other person uses an attack that does 40 damage, MLM dies. If the attack did 20 damage, then MLM would survive with 10. (10+20-20)
I'm not sure about this, but I think this is how it works.
To kill grinders, get a razor sword by killing the razor queen and hit the rock three times.
Or, lead the thing into meltie acid or throw a grenade at it, and then hit it 5 times with the normal sword.
You can kill grinders in 3 hits with a razor blade. You should leave that award for later until you get the razor sword, or you can lure it into meltie goo or use a grenade, then hit it a couple of times.
The reason the chalice card is there is probably to teach new peoples about intercepting, which is a main aspect of the game. It's also a very mediocre card, but it can be used by any character and is at least somewhat useful for most characters, except tafari and those hit fleeing attacks.
...Did anyone else's data get erased? I lost some achievements (most of them from adventure), and the only one I have left is the first one, shell shocked.
