Ack. Too easy to accidentally select something on the level up screen or miss text because you are too busy mashing 'a.' I suggest changing selection of upgrades and progression of dialog to the 's' key.
In terms of changes, I'd like to suggest that you make it possible to move joints after they've been placed. Having to delete a joint and the surrounding 4 or so pieces, then replace everything and test (only to find that it still doesn't work so you have to do it again), gets frustrating.
2/5 for effort.
Meh. Challenge levels move too slowly. I thought I'd be able to just go in, complete the 40 and be done with it, but NO. Doing 15 extra levels is not worth it.
Honestly? This game is terrible. It's unoriginal and way too easy. I had the minigun by wave 31 after only buying the scorpion between it an the starting gun.
Also, what's the point of releasing a sequel if it is THE EXACT SAME GAME as the first?
Best mindless game I've played since... well, ever. This is the first game that I've played whose need for almost no thinking whatsoever actually makes it better. It's surprisingly a very good game to relax with (after turning off the sound of course). My biggest (but still pretty small) complaint is how short it is. Great job!
So I think I've finally figured out the swaying. The blocks not being completely rigid is the cause (problem?). This means that if you build your tower higher on one side than the other, the block on that side will be compacted down more than the others, causing the tower to lean that way. To reduce swaying to a minimum, make sure that the tower is as close to the same height at all places at all times as possible. A tactic that worked for me was placing some bricks over the edge of the base, but so they can still hang on at the very beginning (either blues, yellows, or pinks). Doing so allows for more places to place bricks and a more stable in general tower. Trust me, this is coming from someone who got the 99 problems badge.
I was 16 bricks away from all 99. Dang.
Some tips:
In the beginning, it would be advisable to place a blue piece on each side so that the protruding middle is the only part hanging on to the stage. Getting them there early helps and it allows for some quite stable extra places to put blocks.
Never allow one side of your tower to become much taller than the other. It will be your demise.
Don't let blocks hit the tower at top speed.
Response to holybow3: Then there would be an impossible badge? It wouldn't change the fact that getting a perfect rating on fantastic is friggin' hard. It would just waste my life even more.
