Managed full stars, except level 15. Cannot get 5 acid, best can manage 4. How do you drop one of the guards without killing him?
Otherwise, nice game with interesting challenges, mostly fun although a couple of grenade toss requirements required a little too many retries due to physics not always landing ragdolls in proper positions.
Nice, sweet, zen, and a little touching at the end. Great job!
Spoilers:
Feeding villagers: Cross the expanse water to the right of the village. There are wheat grains there you can carry back via an underwater route.
Seeking help: More like waiting for help. Once the villagers have food, they will slowly expand to the right. Eventually, building bridges.
Green shit shooting from boss very annoying. Coupled with boss jumping with very limited opening to punch it in the face makes it a very annoying practice in twitch reflex to get right. It is probably just me, never a good plat-former, but still... a pity that I cannot find an easier alternative to "repeatedly die while trying to punch ceiling crawling mutant cat in the face".
Overall, a nice hour or so spent.
One problem with the limit breaks, they seem a little weak. I do not know, maybe pushing the game and finishing it with Level 2 limit break is fast?
But this Limit break dealt less damage than what Hell Thorn poison was taking off the final boss.
Maybe it is a level thing as Esuana would have proved very useful in the last two maps with multiple enemies repeatedly taking large chunks off your HP and breaking your weapon making it a challenging fight just to keep alive.
Overall, great effort!!
Nice game. Some comments:
1. Navy and other pirates should fight each other. Having everyone only chase after you is a little... odd.
2. All ships should give up chase after awhile. One quickly racks upwards of 10+ ships within 1-2 quests.
3. No way to increase turn rate?
So... I did not buy the right combination of upgrades, and the wave 30 boss seems unbeatable because of it? I can only do so much with 2000 points accumulated from the last 2 waves....
Great game. Only have issues with the indirect level to effective rawr capability reference. The last boss is 22/22 and I cannot take him down at 50/19. And I echo the rarity of special events making it very "grind-y".
I totally cannot understand how to play this game. It says eat 10 animals, and I crawl really slowly around, try to get one creature and everything else disappears off screen. I wait while 10-20% the Health goes down, THEN another animal appears. Rinse repeat. I get like 7-8 animals, and I die.
Every time.
I am totally horrible at this...
Great game. Great concept. Really love it.
Except: it's very, very twitchy. I'm hopeless at the lightning reflexes it seems to require to complete some of the levels... a couple of dozen tries later, success! Then the process repeats again for the next level. I see the solution, (or perhaps I don't, that there is an easier alternative), but I cannot complete this game... not without *a lot* of frustration and repeated tries.
Is it me or is the map with the hangar where you need the 3 keys bugged? I've tried to wait at the lift area where the 2 turrets and the console is died repeatedly after the countdown ends. The message "Lift is here" appears, but the map does not complete...?
Quite a cool game. Difficulty scaling from level 1 (easy) to level 4 (hard) done rather nicely. Had to retry once on 4th which made it interesting. The priest was indispensable however (at least to me) so the survivalist and the moonshiner was not a unit that any time to shine between early game defense (shovels) to late game offense. 4stars!
