It's an interesting puzzle game - the AI always makes the same move. It's very annoying however, when they have large income or Villager pool and next turn, you suddenly loose everything OR you spend so many turns waiting and the AI expands everywhere.

Love the game, but the platforming and controls makes it tedious. I already have the solution and know it works, but I'm one pixel off and have to repeat it endlessly to get it just right. I know the same is 4 years old, but I'd much like save points where I don't have to make 2-3 difficult jumps perfectly to solve a puzzle game.

This is probably a good game for people with time and want to spend it on puzzling out the solution. Horrible as a GotD where one would want to quickly complete the achievement and may not have time nor mood to spend hours fiddling with the more complex levels.

These hardly veiled parasitic pieces of codes should be banned on sites from masquerading as games. They use hard time locks and every tactic in the book to make you pay for any meaningful progress or you can wait... and wait... and wait... forever. These aren't games. They have as much interaction as watching paint dry, less educational value, and does its best to treating players as fools with a credit card. It doesn't even pretend to have any semblance of play, with a dumbed down merge-3 mechanics and a more timers than a beach has sand plus area locks that all but mandate pay to play.

So grind heavy. Poor main attack with very pixel specific hit frame coupled with enemies quickly stacking up in number and HP means the RNG for coins is impossibly low per run. Add in rather expensive upgrades means 10 min in and I'm barely 3% to the 1st upgrade. No TQVM. I have better things to do than rerun 40-50 for one questionable upgrade on such an uninspired game.

Problem: (1) Wait time to open chests. (2) No full keyboard interface despite hiding mouse (e.g. ESC to close windows, ENTER to OK/START run). (3) Repeating piercing music makes me just want to mute everything. (4) Forced tutorial.

Just pure horrible. Controls are unresponsive, obstacles are not a test of puzzle solving but split-second reflex and route memory of the traps and platforms. Frustration compounded by poor placement of save points, unnecessarily lengthy runs between them, and bad controls leading to missteps, deaths and restarting.

Very poor design. One music option on short loop, no real gameplay other than waiting after drawing lines. No fast forward button. No way to erase lines. Did not address line continuation after exiting despite a lot of game play mandating drawing to the very edge. Just dull, tedious, and frustrating once you accidentally made an irrecoverable mistake.

Cute, funny endings, and simple gameplay. Love the gradual unveiling of the sections of the forge as the resource is available, resolving "tutorial" in a very elegant manner. Love the multiple endings, although gold swords are actually useless, much less win a war. :) Great game!

The tutorial part was one of the last things added before the deadline and it almost didn't make it into the game. So happy I managed to cram it in ^^

Minigames are worst I've ever had the chance to play. Demanding, with almost no margin for errors, and therefore frustrating without being entertaining. Furthermore, there is no way to win the easy badge without suffering through endless torment of the minigames because the starting stats does not allow you to get anywhere near the top 4 positions. The badge should at least be Medium if not Hard, due to mandatory torture.

Best of 2019 for people with too much time to waste. The puzzles are not difficult to figure out, but require more retries and patience than can ever be afforded by anyone with anything resembling responsibilities. The jumping puzzles requires pixel precision with controls that stutter, and the timing puzzles are so frustrating, you need luck more than skill to overcome.

Levels 17 to 20 are a little pixel specific. Anything outside very slight alignments results in restarting. Other than that, pretty straightforward and interesting mechanic, if simpler puzzles overall. Lovely installment to the franchise.

EASY BADGE METHOD: Play Level 1/11. Select right most column. Wait for the seeds to spawn and replace right most column. Wait 3 seconds. Select right most column again. Repeat. This allows the max number of seeds to remain in the field longest to build up the arbitrary "efficiency" score.

I've always enjoyed your games, given that occasional level that is entirely frustrating because it required too much precision in timing and positioning. The 1st 15 levels so far were all "brain" puzzles, which if preferred over "platform" puzzles. One comment: Although I can see the "X to use powers" consistency across all games, in this case, if you would allow "down" to also do the same thing, then it can be played with one hand (I'm lazy that way). It's just a minor UI thing, of course. Keep it up!

Timing of many "puzzles" are too tight. It makes it feel less like a "Yes! My repetition has earned me enough skill to overcome the obstacle!", but more like a "Well, that was a lucky break in things that murder-splat me."

I loved your Ranger game, but this one's L13 is frustratingly annoying. It becomes one of tedious retry until you hit pixel positioning perfection. Tip: alpha and beta test levels with different people - puzzles should be the fun of thinking of the resolution, not tedium of executing it. Worse, the sheer precision required made me think I came to the wrong solution and tried many more, before eventually giving into consorting to seeking hints, only to find out it was only failure to execute.

The extreme dexterity requirement of the game, and pixel perfect timing and positioning required, gives this game a throwback to the impossible games of yore. That said, it is aggravating to retry the same puzzle for the 500th time over 3 days, and still fail. Plus, I think it makes playing with less sensitive input devices a near hopeless endeavor, as many times, I find the diagonal jumps failing because the jump key doesn't register at the exact precise moment and pixel, 7x in row, in 1/3rd the number of seconds, as required.

13)Pull lever. Kill top wasp on your way down. Carefully place platform above spikes. Rush to pull lever. Kill lower wasp if not dead. Platform up & use frozen monsters to get last gem. 14)Jump up, grab gem. Run & jump to next gem. Jump up out of screen & run until you drop & grab Icebow. Rush to drop into 3rd gem. Keep freezing monster to block cannon as you move left. OR just run from gem to gem; the monster will block 1 shot. 15)Freeze slime & wasp. Pull left lever. Make platform to jump right. Place plaftorm above ghost. Use Firebow to kill octo. Replace platform at bottom where you left Icebow. Swap to Firebow. Swap Fire for Ice. Swap Ice for Earth. Use Earthbow to make platform just below the right-most gem. Make sure platform is visbly lower (or you might be unable to step on it later). Swap to Ice to freeze ghost. Make your way to the last 2 gems.
