The people who are bitching about this game being on the front page need to turn their attention to the shitty games that have been badged recently. This is a good game with a shit ton of content. Yah there are a lot of noobs...in the noob areas.
The only reason this shouldn't be on Kongregate is because it is a Java game.
Sellouts.
It gave me the card when I first hit 60 kills. It didn't give me the easy badge....and now after loading up the 3rd level to continue my game, I just got the Easy and Hard badges without beating the game.
Aside from that, it really does need a pause button. The controls are also a pain, especially since the 4 and 5 keys don't work at all for me. If we could select the keys that'd be awesome. I also think that the timing is way off and the damage calculator seems off. Sometimes my air attack does great damage, other times it does nothing. If this is due to armor/etc. of the enemies...then we should be told that.
I think it would be cool to know the different attack moves instead of having to figure them out.
oh and fix the bugs.
2/5. It's pretty boring and repetitive. Without combos, unlockable weapons, upgrades, etc. there is no reason to keep playing. I'm glad the glitch gave me the hard badge. lol
once you have maxed characters it gets pretty easy no matter what your team...the extra action helps out A LOT since now you can kill the front line in a single turn
i really like the magic system. good spells, its takes just enough turns to save up for the gems. I'd like to see maybe spells to target individuals...that would add a bit of stragety.
good game, nice graphics/music. It's pretty addicting too. 5/5
It is a lot of fun but some of the upgrades are buggy. When I upgraded my castle dmg from 3, it took away my money but went the power went to 1. When I tried to upgrade my rate of fire from 1 to 2, the same thing happened. Not sure what is the cause of this or if it happens for all upgrades.
Needs music that is more then a 5 second loop, and some sound effects. The graphics are pretty good and it is nice and fast, although a new wave button would help speed up the game. I like the fact that you can build things while the game is paused. Navitagion is easy, menu is easy to understand.
Very nice game, 5/5. :)
Cool.
I think it needs a reset button though. Even though you can just exit the level and restart...a reset button is simple to add.
I hate how when you are holding down the button sliding things and you accidentally let go over the level select button, you loose all progress. That stinks....also maybe when you complete a level it can auto take you to the level select screen.
Good concept, nice puzzle game. Difficulty slope seems good...it stars easy and gets much harder...
Fun and interesting, but it responds too slow...its takes forever to speed up when you are starting from a stand still, but when you DO start moving you gain speed wayyyy to fast to be able to slow down. I think with better response time it would be much more fun
3/5
It is an interesting concept, and fun. It is pretty frustrating though. The 3d is nice, and I like being able to turn the screen....however, I think one major fault is that you can never tell if you are "in line" with a series of parts or blocks to jump too when you have to double jump. It sucks when you think you are lined up, jump, and then realize that you should have moved one extra square before pressing A/D. It would be really nice to know if you are aligned or not...maybe part of the "fun/challenge" is lining up, but starting over from the beginning is just too punishing.I think it would be a lot better if either a) there was a way to tell when you are in line, or b) your falls restart you where you jumped (which still leaves an issue when you land on a ground and have to retrack).
Pretty well done. Music is nice, menus are nice. Graphics, albeit simple, are crisp and clean. I like the different enemies and how they interact with each other. The many different rewards are cool too, it's fun unlocking new ones. I would have liked to see upgrades...different weapons and such would be fun. Maybe temporary speed bonuses, weapon bonuses, or shield bonuses?
3/5. It was fun and engaging, but there really isn't anything keeping me coming back.
Well I think the timing on the gates suck. You have to click it a gate before, sometimes two gates before, and you still miss. Unless I suck really bad. I think this could be easily fixed by a much better suggestion: add a "pause" type of button that keeps the balls from flying out. That way you can actually get timing right...for most levels the trick isn't actually to "figure out what time the gates should be released to make a cool song" but is rather to wait a while and get lucky. This really really takes away from the puzzle element..this game is simply trial and error. I really wanted to like this game (i thought, maybe, finally, a good music game has been badged) but becuase I cant pause the gates and get the timing right, the game relies too much on luck and brute force, instead of logic. 3/5 It is still a favorite, the levels can be pretty fun if you happen to actually time the balls correctly, but this badge was a pain in the (musical) balls.
