Typing letters should work (have it highlight all applicable possibilities when typed), and double clicking the last letter should make a word rather than having to drop down for submit.
1. Typing letters could cause some issues, because it's hard for me to predict which chain you actually mean. If you're making the word SAMPLE, and there are two possible L's, which do I get rid of? One of the L's might be under a key, while the other is under a bomb. I don't know which one is your intent.
2. The problem with double-clicking the last letter to submit is that we don't know what word someone is going to submit. Let's say someone wants to make the word THRONE, but clicks T-H-E by mistake. Hitting the E to cancel that letter would submit the word THE. (That being said, a more convenient way to submit a word would benefit the game.)
At 2000 programming you could say hack google and put their whole company to work for you increasing your research by a further 30%... I mean there are a lot of possibilities.
At 1,000 investing and 10 Billion dollars you buy out the Molecular Cooking Crew company and get a 5 food bonus instead of 4. I mean there are a lot of things that could be in there.
What this really needs is more storyline. Once you start transcending a bunch of times, yes you get to higher waves but there isn't any change. I mean the aliens could contact you saying what you are doing is futile. With 1000 levels in CEO you convince them to build a second laser. With 1000 levels of quantum mechanics you can figure out some metascience to make the lasers better. Things you wouldn't necessarily even try to do....
Just a simple generic comment. Yugle got nerfed and that is the one way people were playing in the mid game onward to get the money for physics(the quicker you got to not having to work for the best food from interest the more along you were). The problem with nerfs in a game like this is it sets you back far enough that it takes you many transcends to get back to the power level you were before the nerf (if ever in some games). While making things easier is fine, reducing the power of things in games like this should rarely be done as it not only moves goal lines farther away, but sets players back so they can only look forward to where they were.
This was done recently in another game I was playing but far harder (hard enough that I decided I had "won" the game for a certain definition of winning and spending a month to get back to my former power level wasn't worth it)
While I can see on one level what you say about the healing cowl, it still leaves warriors weaker. Thing is the big issue is that the SKILL Endurance only does 0.1. If the skill did 0.3 then we would still have the 0.5 of the old trinket but the warriors would have to spend a skill getting it, and it would only affect them. 0.1 is just silly, especially with parties.
I might bump Endurance to 0.2, and then put in Endurance II at a higher level (which will be 0.4). (Edit: I have another idea about Endurance, it will remain 0.1 but also provide a 5% HP buff. Endurance II will be 0.3 and provide a 10% HP buff. Note that both can be used together for 0.4 + HP buffs.)
I just finished a 39.79k 244 difficulty dungeon (with much effort) -- I got 126B gold and 2 small steel plates from the boss. I guess 40k isn't tough enough for titanium to show up (because if steel is possible titanium shouldn't be). Back to Much easier 17k dungeons for cobalt. Anyone know the point where Titanium is possible?
As for why I brought up the whole thing in the first place, I feel a normal monster should be able to be higher than the stated picks of a dungeon in only one category. If a monster is to spawn that is 30 higher in attack and 100 higher in defense, that should always be a hoard.
Forgetting a dungeon that you spent the time discovering is a loss all around, especially when it is because of a speed bump or three. The loot is at the end in general (although that dungeon again disappointed at the boss, giving me a mythril item in a 33.9k quality dungeon) -- I really want titanium. I'll ask again though -- what is the minimum quality dungeon to net titanium?
Said battle gave me 17.94B and 1 mythril rivet. (and revealed a 92/249 monster which remarkably is MUCH easier than a 112/291 but still kind of op in the 80/190 dungeon for a non-boss non-hoard monster)
Hmmm -- seems hardly fair to warriors to base it on hit points. I mean a defense heavy character will have tons more downtime than an offense heavy one. Plus you don't know you are going to die in a fight until it throws one of those ridiculously over-dungeon level mobs at you. I have a 2908HP 112/291 Chimera (Isn't even a hoard room) blocking my way through a dungeon(original parameters were 80/190). Looking at several deaths to clear him.
What determines recovery time after you fail a dungeon? I am up to about 12 minutes 30 seconds which... Well it is quite long and seems to be getting longer pretty quickly.
