The energy system makes advancement painfully slow at the rate it doles out the energy. It is also obviously meant for cell phones. It would improve the game if you could use the arrow keys to move between screens and to scroll within screens.
I found a workaround for the symbolist bug. If you go into events and click to view every other event before symbolist then symbolist, it will let you upgrade the bottom skill.
There is one other possibility for the symbol of wealth. Maybe it isn't allowing you to buy it unless you have enough points to do the symbol of patience -- if that is the case then the fact that I am 10/10 symbol of patience would make it permabroken -- will continue to try and track exactly what is going on but it isn't letting me buy the symbol of wealth and in a couple of days I will be stuck because of it.
Be REALLY careful after you prestige not to take quests that use money. I started by taking a quest for the board's gold increase and it required aa money to complete -- that wouldn't be done in about 5 hours.
Is there an easyish way to get the medium badge -- I once had two tunnels back to back that gave me 66 but I only got there once in a loooong time playing.
Okay this simply gets weird at high levels. Oh and it runs better under chrome than firefox by a good margin. Still leaks memory like a sieve. It is taking up about 3 GB of memory right now.
