That was a lot of fun. The controls were very tight, and I am glad that I stuck it out to the end. The end levels were considerably easier than those at around 50%.
I am stuck in the factory with four of five batteries. I spent an hour trying to get past it but cannot figure it out... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Horribly balanced. The beginning is a grind, and then after you finally start making progress, everything gets maxed out and lower levels are still a pain in the ass. I would have loved to have seen the end of the game, but the repetition and the overall lack of progression was too boring.
I love the series, though I have suggestions:
Make the guidelines the currently selected color.
The auto-counters when hovering are great, but when it is yellow it is really hard to see. A border on the font would help a lot.
An erase and/or "mark blank" tool would br a handy addition.
Sorry for spamming, as I cannot delete my previous comments, but I found out it was because I was slightly zoomed out (and had a white border on the right and bottom of the flash window). Zooming in to the correct level fixed that bug.
My clicks do not register at the point my cursor is. It is offset to the right. As in, the hitbox for Pause does not even start until halfway between the pause button and level number.
I loved the game, beat it, and then went for New Game+. I wish the achievements had reset as well, because it will make the second playthrough tedious. Also, had I known that I would keep my money but not my skill points, I would not have spent all of that cash before restarting. Seems a silly way to do New Game+...
@TR2N: Just go to the Skills screen and drag the skills down to the shortcut bar. Also helpful to do the same with your followers towards the end game, because otherwise you will never get to use their highest level skills.
Currently, I think it's only good for 1, maybe two play sessions max. I think it would really benefit from a check point save game system, because the combat is not engrossing enough for me to start all over again. Then again, I am not a huge fan of rouge-likes, if that is what you were looking to make.
Buggy enemies. On level 10, two trenches could not be hit. Then a tank on level 12, same issue. Restarting the mission fixed it, but it was very annoying.
I try to avoid it where possible, this was necessary though, it made the other trees obsolete. Sorry about that. The power difference is not THAT much, you will just need to rest occasionally, that talent was never intended to make it so that you never had to rest, the hunter does too much damage for that to be balanced.
So I bought the full game to play at work only to find out that it requires an installation. Can't install things at work... I really wish it was still browser based like the demo.
I completed the first set of three quests, and when I exited the crafting bench, the screen was mostly covered by a transparent brown window, making things really dark. So I refreshed the game. Now it loads to the first title screen, and does not make it past there to the actual menu.
