Cool game because it's very different. But, seeing as how you are going to school for something that anyone in the world can get into, I have to rate the game 1/5 because the actual gameplay is complete shit.
Only played for 15 minutes, and I'm already at a point where monsters take at least 1 minute to kill. I need 3,000 gems to prestige, and I only have 114. What do citizens do? What's required before being able to increase mana? How do you even get gems? What's the number under my sword? More tooltips would be really helpful in keeping players interest. Also, a final boss battle with an actual end to the game would really set this apart from all the other idle games that have no main goal.
Thank you for comment, I did not thought about it. I will add a new tutorials or tooltips tomorrow or smth. Have fun :)
P.S. I never thought about the main goal, but more interesting features will be added in future updates. Keep your eyes on it! If you have any ideas about gameplay please contact me at insomniacats.studio@gmail.com
First off, thanks for not making a pointless idle game. 5/5 for that. A suggestion that I think would really make this game stand out from the rest of this type: Definitions for some of the words. A lot of times you can beat a level by using cryptic 3 and 4 letter words. In fact, there are so many odd words that can be played, I quit going to the dictionary because it was interrupting my game play.
Better not use that treasure to build a museum before you launder the money. Otherwise, the I.R.S. will take everything away, and you'll face prison time. 5/5
I like the game a lot. I think it would be better though if the levels were static instead of random. Right now it feels like you're just going for a high score instead of trying to beat the game.
Obtainment of Skill Grid points needs balanced and the game needs a goal. Player spends too much time doing nothing, waiting for nothing, for no reason.
This is an Idle game. It's meant to be something relaxing, or a game that plays in the background. Even the description of the game says it - you watch pixels slowly fill in the squares ;)
We are very sorry we didn't notice it was blocking. The engine has some problems letting the game run while not focused on it. We will try to fix it as soon as possible
Wanna get around the 'rune store' so that you can actually play the game all the way through without waiting hours and hours for enough taxes to come in for upgrades? Just go to the map screen, set up an auto-clicker to collect all of your taxes while you are away for the day, then come back home and play a video game how a video game was intended to be played.
Pretty cool game until you've reset a few times and unlocked all of the content. But after that, you're just doing the same thing over and over, and for what reason? Add more to the story, give the player an ultimate goal to work towards, and give the player a couple of different paths that he can take for replayability. This is a pretty decent start to a game, but it feels to unifinished to be called a game.
Could be a cool game, but I have no idea what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, or what I'm trying to do. A tutorial would help a lot and some sort of story line would make it an actual game. A 2/5 seems fair for the amount of effort put into it.
