This is rough -- and too short, but you've got a good concept going and some interesting level designs. Keep working on it, you've got the seedling of a decent "block removal" game. I'd recommend including some instructions somewhere: "Click the green boxes to make them disappear and guide the smiley box to the white cup."
Cute game with clever levels. I agree that you should consider a more distinctive name. Just throwing out a brainstorm: Basketballers, Ballers, Basket Fever, Pass Off!, Puzzle Passers, Traveling, B-Ball X-Fer. "Basketballs" just makes it sound like an ordinary Basketball game, but really this is more of a puzzle game with a basketball theme. Whatever you call it, I like it. 4/5
This is one of the best flash games i have ever played. To think that it was created by only two people! You guys are to be commended. The result is just spectacular; the graphics are crisp, cute, clean, and vivid, the gameplay is classic platformer. Really enjoyed the variety of enemies and weapons. I had so much fun completing the game i feel like I owe you some money. BTW it looks fantastic fullscreen using swiffout or better kongregate.
Criticizing the game as a ripoff is wrong; I'd say that by now TD is a legit genre of games by now considering how many have been made. I agree that definitions of the different colors is needed -- this is a good start but with some tweaking could be even better.
This is a great game for little ones -- it's beautifully animated and provides just the right level of challenge for small children. Play full screen with "better kongregate" or "swiffout" (just google em) and it's even better. For the record, I totally found ALL of the pets.
i put most of my exp on strength and attack and didn't have any problem with any of the battles. and trust me, i suck at these kinds of games. this was a really beautifully done game and the developers should be thanked / congratulated for all of their hard work on this. far more depth than the average free flash site casual game. i particularly enjoyed the added elements of the shuffle board game / dice game / typing game. they really help draw in people who aren't usually attracted to RPGs (like me!)
Reminds me of Atari 2600 pinball -- it's low-fi but strangely addictive. I think the comment above about making an RPG of it is an original and interesting concept. At least I've never heard of a an RPG/pinball hybrid. I like the idea of a limited color palette but i'm not crazy about this particular combination. And I disagree with the criticisms of the physics -- it felt fine to me; it's not like you're trying to make the ball behavior ultra-realistic.
there's a lot to like here -- original concept, great retro graphics (a popular trend, i know -- but it's a trend i like) and fun / not too challenging gameplay which is good for us casual gamers. it feels very polished. nice work.
As someone who works as a professional writer, I'll chime in and say that "bantering" is indeed used correctly. Fun game -- a tad short. nothing new but i can't get enough of the physics puzzlers.
ok thank you!
