Found a Roman helmet in 20,000 BC. This is a neat game, but it would be even better if it was historically accurate with some factoids on the things found.
Great game. Boss was hard but I beat him in the end. Spoiler alert... first press the button, then go around anti clockwise (up and and over.) When you get to the bottom left wait for the boss to get entangled in the electric spheres before you head for the beacon. I kept rushing forwards, but he would always beat me.
This is a great idea and a great game, but I have issues with some of the options presented. If we put ourselves in the context of ancient Athens then the arguments make sense, but the avatar in the game comes from the modern world in which we have more factual knowledge than the ancient Athenians.
For example, due to our knowledge of genetics it could well be argued that morality does come at least partly from nature.
I bring this up because it makes the learning process harder than it needs to be; it would be better if the story somehow stressed that only knowledge that was known at the time can be used.
5 out 5 regardless.
If this game has whetted your appetite, then I highly recommend the book Sophies World. It is a fictional novel about a young girl learning about the history of philosophy.
Not getting a jet suit in real life I can deal with, but I don't even get my jet suit in the game! I gave it 5/5. Despite its flaws, one of the most enjoyable RTS flash games I've played.
Walked through most of the game, but took me over an hour to beat the level 17 whiffy achievement. I did it perfect many times but just had wait for a lucky break on the last obstacle - where the leading car fell on its back - before I could win.
Apart from that its the best game of its type I've played.
For those struggling with the perfect time. You have to rush. Make sure you infantry has all upgrades and then just pile them in - often before building gold mines.
Being a beginner, don't expect anything but insults and low scores. But don't give up and one day you'll make a game worth playing. Most people on here would't even be able to do this much.
This is under rated. Just because it is hard does not mean it is bad. You have to work out a good strategy to defeat it. It's not so hard once you work out how to position the towers. A couple of bees on the island at the start. Bombs around the bridge. Arrow towers and one bee at the end. One air tower near the bridge. Get Gatling and chopper early. Power up the chopper all the way but only take the gatling to the second level - full power arrow towers are better.
I finally managed to get all the coins. No bonus achievement or anything? Was it a fluke that it was hard but possible? Not enough time to beat the boss afterwords though.
Just think of this as a tower defense game with 8 levels instead of 12 and it is actually pretty good. Level 7 is hard ( should have been the last level as 8 is very easy). Also, the beam tower is under powered on its higher levels. I like the innovative use of gates to manage juggling. Tip: Shut the open gate before opening a new one - it gives a few extra seconds of confusion.
This has a lot of potential. A few things it needs include a sell option, and factories should be able to produce on any available surface - or at least indicate that only the top square on the left can produce. Bots also need some form of pathfinding - could be pheromone based. Or radio for support(With upgrade option for distance of radio call)
