I had to go answer the door and forgot to put in on pause. I came back to find that I had cleared out the whole level while I was gone. Nice graphics and atmosphere.
Personaly I don't mind demos as long it is stated clearly and they offer a significant chunk of game play ... I remember back in the day playing the age of empires 2 demo for ages ... Anyhow this demo is very short so even though it seems like a polished game I'm only giving 2/5
A good but not great game. A shame because all it needs is the auto-fire and a few more levels. At the mo it takes a lot of grinding to get all the achievements.
@Dudazi: 3: Colours are eliminated by removing them from the top of the screen (sometimes there a couple left in you quiver, but they soon clear) 5: White bubbles appear on mass when only 2 colours are left
Freezes when restarting a lair. Have to return to main menu and reselect the level.
All level are easy if you combine two of the lightning towers next to each other as they stun long enough to catch almost all the minions. Add the shock wave tower next to them if there is room.
Needs lots of things: levels with different maps, some kind of limit on the troops other than a timeout that is the same for all. Most of the time is spent just waiting for your troops to beat theirs - gets boring. Either allow troops to overlap to make the battle quicker, or make an open map where towers define the path - so there can be multiple paths to the other side.
This has great potential. A few points:
Turret mode needs a radar, or mini-map of some sort so that you can see if your attention should be elsewhere. Speed up the flash when entering a turret, it is too disorientating. Turret mode is pointless in continuous mode - as you don't have time for it. Needs more turrets or more sophisticated upgrades. More maps. A story line with increasingly complex maps. Awards of some kind. Music
I really like the tetris idea of the turrets.
