This really goes slow. The issue is the game economy, there either needs to be a decrease in the upgrade costs, an increase in the money earned per mission (general height reward) OR an increase in the effectiveness of the individual upgrades. Just one of those would make the game a lot more fun. Right now it feels like it has been artificially lengthened by requiring way too many launches to have any measurable progress.
PRO TIP: You can actually use your thrusters to help LAND. If you click thrusters immediately after hitting an alien it cancels your upward movement. This allows you to gradually move down and force a landing.
wow. I couldn't remember why I hadn't finished this game so I loaded it back up. Oh right! at level 14 the lag makes it unplayable. Too bad, an otherwise great game.
Good LORD. F this game SO hard. With max upgrades I can only make it through the wooden door one time out of 10? Why is it that I can miss EVERY bird but hit EVERY lightning, shocky, bullshit thing? I wish I could give this negative stars.
I started out with a 5/5 for this, but the upgrades take FAR too long to get and the "money" is completely useless. so, 4/5 because it is still fun but it drags.
It takes WAAAAAAAY too long to get money for upgrades. You end up launching over and over and over and over with the exact same equipment until you can eventually afford to buy the next upgrade... so you can go another 200 feet. Either increase the money per launch, decrease the upgrade cost, or increase the spawn rate of helpful items on the ground to push you further.
