Several problems: Having to buy all the level one upgrades to get the level 2 ones-- that's not how an upgrade system is supposed to work. You're supposed to only have enough money for a couple of upgrades, and you have to pick ones that work with your strategy. Music: Just annoys me. And why would you import an mp3 into the game when you can play it outside the game much more quickly? Graphics is good. Also, why do you have to use all of your turbo at once?
This is a nice game...IF I COULD ONLY PLAY IT!
I've got a pretty fast PC, but this game lags so much I can't steer at all. The menu is lagging my typing while I'm writing this. Sad, I think it would be good.
Ok, I got the badge. Leaving. Before I do: Restarting the whole building because of one little mistake is just plain annoying; Why does everyone speak gibberish?; Even on the hardest difficulty you get at the beginning, the levels are wayyyyy too easy. The whole thing is just an effing ad for a game which I am not particularly inclined to buy based on this, if you get my drift.
I got to level 21. I'm never playing this game again. It's impossible to win, and since you don't get anything for losing, there's no point in going to try again.
My main problem with this game is the thing that causes your commands to be queued when you are stunned-- by the time you actually do them, it's too late.
Couple of things:
Redoing the entire level when you blow up the bombs with the gems is annoying.
I managed on the first level with bombs to blow them up with the gems, but everything stayed onscreen. Why do you have to redo that?
Brilliant game. I'd love to see a sequel. My one problem with it is the odd effect of aiming down and firing. It seems that aiming straight down applies more force to you than aiming at a diagonal does.
For the keyboard being awkward, I just use autohotkey to redirect the y u i o and p keys to the different rows. Makes the game much easier-- great game, 5/5 Later levels are impossible though.
This is a classic example of something that you should NEVER do: Attack a tank armed only with a souped-up sniper rifle and the promise of some air support.
The last few songs are impossible. I'm kinda annoyed because I got to the end of Love the World on crazy, and got a perfect on the 3rd or 4th to last note. Anyway, great game.
Not meaning to be a nitpicker, but....
Continuity: There's a crate on the trapdoor, but when I zoom in it's gone-- You can't see the back window when you're zoomed in on the back wall, even though you should be able to-- one of the cans on the bookshelf changes color when you zoom in. Other problems: Why can't you break the boards over the windows? Am I the first person to pull a nail out with a screwdriver? FINALLY: I (just for fun) tried all of the combos for the safe. It wouldn't open. The little bat thing only looks in and tells you the right combo- why couldn't I open it before?
