This game is mechanically solid, safe for the part where I still need to manually confirm all this new gear is awful compared to my current. Only things to add now besides that is content: more bosses, story etc.
Puzzles are entirely linear, hard to find and easy once you do find them. As a result, the game seems like a 'find next location/object' game more than a point and click puzzle game.
Curious, why are people actually upgrading any kicker but the last one? I simply kept the first one plain, then went with the third one with one precision upgrade, then went for the final kicker.
Autofire. Smoothen the walljumping. Don't randomly change the level when you make us panic without any warning. Don't randomly change the rules by no longer respawning us. This game started out wonderful, then just got frustrating.
Good concept, but done before and didn't go far enough with it, making it mostly a normal platformer. Main reason I like games like these is for creativity, this one could use some more.
I love games like these that bend logic, but instead of having fun trying to guess the logic behind yet another puzzle, the game decided to punish me for trying things, rushing puzzle levels (but not challenge levels), and heck, it didn't even bother to auto restart the level for me, making me wonder what the heck I should do when I already am in a failure state.
The gameplay alone was neat, but nothing amazing. The story was neat, but it didn't felt in touch with the game, simply something added on top of it. While everything in the game isn't bad, it isn't good either (levels were basic, environment boring, gameplay basic, story forced), making for a lack of reason to really play this game.
This snowboarding feels so awful, at no time do I feel good for pulling something off, but every mistake is punished so harshly (it's a full stop, slow acceleration and you still have to get away from the object)
It feels very chaotic and spammy, doesn't feel like I'm in control or even know what's happening at all, massive amounts of troops just mix up all over the place and Im somewhere slashing and Ill see the outcome, not very interesting.
This game is great, but the battle mechanics bring the fun down quite a bit for me. Running paladin/warrior and any AoE-slow murders me if I'm not lucky and have a turn really soon to panacea out of it, wasting at least over two of my turns for one of their turns. Maybe you shouldn't make bosses immune to everything but half the duration of it on them, then balance the game accordingly, this will also make it less frustrating when it's used on players.
Hey thanks for your feedback! I would like to point out that CC's last much less on your party that on enemies, but I understand, CC is annoying as hell I highly recommend killing CCs enemies first. however Bosses cant be affected CCs I think they end up being too easy, however I will think on a solution for that! hope to find one! Thanks again, hope you enjoy the game :D
The shooting is great, but the jumping, the 'ending', necessary destructible unrespawning terrain and the lack of weapon variety (maybe a fast weapon, a strong and a magic one instead of always highest dps?) are all things pulling this game down. (I had expected at least some kind of an ending, a single screen...)
Got stuck filling in the 4 numbers, the only hint, the radials below standing at 7573 in red segments, are wrong and I see no other hints and am unwilling to guess 10.000 numbers. Further the artstyle made locating relevant objects impossible, making it a click- of a tabfest. At least most of the puzzles made kinda sense. Can't really say this is a good point and click.
Really bad point and click, stuff is hidden in the background on illogical places (crowbar/key/mirror piece) and some feedback is really confusing/nonexistant (I wanted to crowbar the bed/what did my switches even do?) resulting in the game being just clicking everything instead of making sense of it all. The storytelling wasnt bad, but it simply didnt have the gameplay to back it up.
Maybe I should not have played this game around 5am, but it was totally worth it though for the writing, explained the different philosophies clearly and managed to be funny, with a functional debating system to back it up (cant call it perfect, but I think I just covered that part...)
i going to make the press play sign bigger on the next update
