Wow, what to say here. First off, it's a little annoying when you are trying to dodge fast and run off the edge, so fix that. It's pretty simple, just make an object that follows the mouse around and base your collisions on that, so if the mouse goes outside the object doesn't. All fixed.
Beating lvl 5 should take you to 6, but instead it's game over, then you click the lvl 6 link to continue. Whoops?
Wow, invisible enemies, enemies that repeat their death animation over and over again, running past mobs of enemies doesn't clear them out no matter how far you get so the AI bogs the game down fast. Death sounds got annoying fast, whether repeated or not. Tiring, but better than the other stuff I played today.
Wow, the scary thing is you have newgrounds logos on these and instead of getting some good free music from the audio portal you've instead taken music from other places. All in all, a nice attempt at learning flash but I'll pass.
Wow, cute graphics on some cards, some are pointless but buggy. Sometimes when you are flipping cards fast (and why not fast, the animations are slow) you'll get three flipped then it will flip all back over. Also you can click the next button to get to the score screen early. Fix the bugs and the flips speed and maybe get some diff music and it might be worth messing with.
Interesting game, wouldn't exactly call some of the levels only medium but it wasn't a challenge either. The point brought up earlier was a good one though, why bother with loading screens? At first I thought you were drawing the maps on a hidden layer then but I found out I was wrong. Kind of scary how each level frame uses the same code ever and over again, you could probably consolidate it with a few functions. Oh, and make it so pressing play doesn't play multiple copies of the music, please.
Wow, sorry but that's just bad. Not a horrible concept for a quick time waster but bad. Turns out any button press takes up a charge whether it actually uses one or not. Sometimes you can charge in the middle of a ton of dots and not a single one will be hit, or only some. Seems to only record a pulse every few ticks instead of every tick. 1/5
I feel sorry for people who just spam click like that. I admit I did it a few times but not during my first try, I only did it after passing a level with a hint then still being stumped when I went back. Took me three full runs to find every single thing. While I did like the look of #1 better I loved some zones in this one, and the few changes that don't come until you've done something else were nice. LMAO at the train.
k, addressing the poplulation change. At first the population grows at 1/10th the rate but it goes down as the #'s get larger, drops at 1k, 4k & 8k, it's normal for it to drop a bit as you cross each line, otherwise it would spiral up so fast you'd be totally swamped in cash. The flow of growth is actually pretty good.
I really don't know why people are griping about this game. It's very well written, with a few minor bugs, and after 1.13 came out actually became a challenge. It takes a bit of time to really know what you are doing in it, when it first came out I got trounced on easy a few times before I worked it out. I do agree the variety starts to wear thin near the end once you are fully built but what TD doesn't? I only gave it 4 stars at first due to the difficulty being so easy but now that he fixed it I just changed it to 5.
WOOT! After many attempts and many strategies I finally found one that worked wonders. Instead of hovering around 1 billion people it just kept climbing and I got over 4 bil by the end of the game. Just in time to get a badge for it too.
Zeebarf, great game, that was very funny with great music. Can't wait for more of the series. The timing bit is very sneaky, I got eaten a few too many times before I worked it out.
This badge was hardly impossible, nor the hard badge hard. I'd say more "Patience badge" than impossible. Just avoid the extra ball things and you are good to go.
Sadly, this game has a bug where it takes your keypresses and counts them but doesn't give you the points for them. I did like 5 flawless attempts on a song in a row and came with with different scores each time, every time different by 100 points, aka a arrow note at 10x multipliers. This makes perfects extra annoying as sometimes it's not your fault you don't get it.
